#1 Brass Eye (think most episodes can be found on google vid//youtube), not entirely sure if the humour will appeal to Americans although IMO it should, amazing series....

Sopranos (realistic, funny, interesting, tho some episodes might be a bit boring), Carnivale (especially the last few episodes of S2 are epic imo, tho it's kind of a "slow starter" , 24, Dexter (pretty light, entertaining and fun to watch), Lost, Prison Break (season 1), Scrubs, Simpsons. |

The Shield is really good, Lost is good too. check out Jericho, it only went for 1.5 seasons but it's really good. the first season of Heroes was absolutely epic. |
