Actually, I think I'd rather not play full ring because I think I'm good at poker.

The fewer players per table you have the more you have to actually play this game.

You'd trade your soul for money? You sound like someone I'd love to be friends with. We could sit around and talk about how much money we have and how much better we are than people who don't have money. We could walk into a store, buy some fancy electronics, then walk outside and spit on the bum asking us for change. We're so superior to him.

I dont quite get it why people make such a huge difference between different versions of the same game. Like really, its still the same game, whether u play HU, 6max, FR or a tournament, of course you need to adjust, but if you are very good at one, it also implies you have the correct type of thinking, mindset, learning ability and it wont take much for you to adapt the the minor differences between FR, 6max, HU and tourneys.

So please stop saying one variation is better than others just because it is the one you like (play, own at) the most.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)

Not trolling. Just posting more lately out of boredom. You consider these two statements I've made trolls?

(1) FR is boring. I'd rather work than play FR.
(2) I think valuing a persons worth based on money is bad.

And yes sometimes my mom and I would get into political discussions. She'd typically argue the liberal point of view and I'd make the most inane conservative argument I could think of. She was very well read and very passionate so it made for some interesting interactions.

I'd rather kill myself then play poker vs people who's starting hands are 85% of the time pocket pairs.

edit: and 98% of the time, AK, AQs + pocket pairs.

That is Trolling 101.....come on dude.

comment (1) is an obvious inflammatory comment towards FR players.
comment (2) who cares? Whats that have to do with anything.

i'll just chime in that I played FR for a long time at the beginning of last year, BEFORE the stars 1/2 games were the rock field they are now (they were tight back then too... but now yikes). I hate FR with a passion, all that said though i'd rather grind 200nl FR than work a job obviously. It's not too hard to make 1 ptbb/100 and if you get SNE (which is less hours than a 'real' job would be) it's well worth it. You don't have to kill yourself and it's a pretty low variance, you just have to accept the fact that your w/r won't be very high unless you're a stellar player (and don't play 20+ tables)

Someone said he also played 1600 SNG's or something so that might be your first clue.

terrybunny19240   United States. Jan 12 2009 15:31. Posts 13829

oh, right. Forgot about that

Still that rakeback % is pretty insane, even if he paid $20 in to stars for each sng he played
