-I believe any entity should do what they can to improve their own situation. I define an entity as an individual/family/tribe/country/etc.
-If an entity breaks the law in seeking to further themselves, they should be punished.
-I assume that leaders of countries do things to help their countries as well as themselves. This is why the US installs dictators, bombs people for oil, etc. Are these things OK? Who am I to judge but facts are facts. Name any country and I guarantee you I will find plenty of dirt on them. Even the hero country known as Mexico has skeletons in their closet (source:

Roald it's not that I disagree with most parts of what you say,in fact I firmly believe that everyone is always acting according to what he considers to be his best interest/make him more powerful. The problem is that various levels of understanding/stupidity result in different beliefs/actions and I don't see why you should avoid judging other peoples' beliefs especially when they might involve all life on the planet dying from nukes.
Your law comment is kind of irrelevant because the stronger guy always makes the rules,what I see as ideal would be that the intellectually stronger members of the species,all sciences from all fields,sit down and start arguing about the path that should be paved for human morality...
