Do you ever browse the low stakes forums?

If so, what do you think of the discussions in the threads?

the advice given is usually pretty decent, but people seem a little closed minded and usually slightly off the best play possible. but it seems like everyone has a good idea of what theyre doing, they just dont put most stuff into practice well, are slightly off in some areas and seem a little too set in their ways. poker is a fluid monster that is always changing and you need to stay ahead of what everyone else is doing and constantly change/upgrade your game and not get stuck in doing the same old thing

What do you rate as good stats for NL.5/1 NL1/2 NL2/4
FR and 6max

VPIP and all AF on all streets.

can you make it a range too, ie between lower and higher extremities.

Thanks.

Hey Daut,

I don't know if you remember me, but I was with Corwin and Sean when he displayed and commented on the SC tourney at HMC. And you bought a big sub sandwich. There is a picture of it somewhere...

Do you think you'll still be playing poker in 5 and 10 years?
What do you think is more profitable (money wise) cashgames or tournaments? It's not uncommon for mid stakes cashgame players go take random tourney stabs and win them, but for every person that suceeds there's obviously hundrerds that fail. In terms of $$/hour (in the longrun) which do you think is more profitable?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

biggest amount of alcohol you drank in one night?

any advice on working on discipline in poker? ( folding when beat, staying focused in every hand and not launching autopilot etc )

if you have had a long downswing or there are juicy games, but you don't want / feel like playing - what do you do to motivate yourself / change the state of mind?

how long do/did you rest after you go on tilt and leave tables? do you always do something to make you feel better and get back to game quicker?

how long sessions do you prefer?

favourite drink?

Make it rain$$$

FR id say 16/11/2.5 are fine at all limits +/- 3 vpip, +/- 3pfr are within normal range
6max id say 22/16/3 are normal, +/- 4vpip, +/-3pfr are in normal range

lol sean is such a fucking hero, of course i remember

biggest fear is probably someday not enjoying my life. i just want to be happy and enjoy what i do and if i was unhappy or depressed thats a scary thought.

favorite live story is one from rekrul where some old dude was facing an over potbet on the flop, had a flush draw, tipped a waitress 500 bucks so his stack was shorter and he had odds to call.

pizza is delicious and def tastier but i prefer eating sub sandwiches more often

ill be playing poker as long as poker is profitable and a lot of people are playing.

i think cash games are more profitable overall but i think the best tournaments are worth playing (1ks, sundays, good 100 and 200 rebuys during the week)

hmm, hard alcohol, 2 friends and i killed a fifth of grey goose, then a handle of rum then started on a bottle of tequila before we ere puking.

for discipline just relax, dont get mad when bad things happen and try to enjoy playing and play every hand as well as you can.

if i am unmotivated to play i usually take some time off. i play when i want to and dont when i feel like doing other stuff

i dont really tilt but if i lose like 6 buyins i stop my session cause by that point im kinda dreary and tired and dont feel like playing. i get a little angry sometimes during a session but after the session ends i dont care anymore. another plus for playing low stakes, whatever i play has no effect on my net worth.

i like playing 2-3 hour sessions the best. longest ill play cash games is like 5 or so.

blair is about 75% of the stud he claims to be. blakes sister brought him up from 30%

smoking is fun but feel like shit when i do it. try not to more than once every couple months now.

i think smoking hurts your ability to play your best but allows you to stay calm and play long hours so its probably a plus for tournament players who play long hours but bad for cash game players who need to stay sharp

tough question....i seriously like all of them and could make an argument for almost every one of them being my favorite.

if he wasnt so new id say anbessa cause he is the easiest person of all time to deal with and is so nice. but he hasnt been around very long so id say of the people i currently back (so martine doesnt count) my overall favorite is roothlus cause hes very active, i have his online action, hes consistent, has been running well and is really easy to deal with.

its not someones fault when they run bad, especially in something highly volatile like tourneys and i obv dont blame the player when it happens but when someone runs good they get special manlove. i was tempted to say ajkhoosier because hes made me rich, but rooth has a better state of mind when he loses, plays more live and i still have his online action so manlove <3
