i was the same way with cash, i would want to put in a 1K hand session, or get like 2K hands in that day.. b 300 hands in and get super gayed multiple times and be so tilted i had to stop.. then i would come back in an hour and insta tilt.. made it very hard to put in alot of hands or have any good comebacks.. couple things that helped me was
1. playing with alot more buyins.. when i had 100bi it was VERY hard to get me upset, i also felt alot more comfortable exploring different options in spots and i constantly wanted to extend my winning stretches instead of just booking a winning day and quiting after my 1K hands or w/e.
2nd thing i did was switch to tournaments.. lol.. its basically expected to lose in a tourny.. everyone knows they cant win every one and its common to not cash for a whole day.. so i dont have any grand expectations and i dont feel bad about losses, and when i win i feel great cuz its noramally alot of money.. unlike cash where when i would win anything other 4 buyins it was just standard, but when i lost i got upset... u spend 2 much time being upset with ur game and not enjoying the winning side.. i still play cash, but now i use 100bi rule if i can, and i play tournys all day also, that way if cash blows i can just quit, or take a few days off no problem.

wow i wrote alot, hope this helps, gl

2- Don't speak or curse when it happens or hit something because it's gonna increase your rage

That's a great advice ! I actually tilt/get angry only because after losing a hand or a couple of them I talk to myself - I smear other players, curse etc.

God, I do have to stick to the rules you posted Sheitan.

When people ask: What nationality is this guy raking in all the pots? The answer invariably comes back Poland, Poland. Again and again - Karma

lol same thing Gawuss, i used to start insulting the fish who pulled the suck out on me then i progressivly get enraged start to hit things and yell hehe, hopefully i've learned to stfu and keep playing calmly, i should have added to not berate the idiot in the chat cuz it doesn't serve you for obvious reasons.

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt

I don't think it's about giving in so much as reframing your perspective so you don't have any pressure (that you need to constantly keep in check just to make sure your head doesn't explode spontaneously).

Horrible horrible horrible players never tilt because they have no idea what the fuck is going on.

Not results oriented < Disoriented.

imo the cursing thing is person to person. Some people can really benefit from just letting that stuff loose verbally if they really need to.

what can you do against tilt besides just resist it?

take breaks a decent amount of the time tho. i put in 70k hands in november. ran like dog shit and still stayed sane and not broke.

a few things kept me from going over the edge.

1. weed.
2. frequent breaks (i took a break every 1k hands or so depending if i felt frustrated or not. If i was winning and playing good i'd prolly keep going)
3. for me personally. going over the sessions' stats mid way through and look over graphs and shit helps reassure me that i'm playing good and not just sucking hard.

and for after bad sessions don't just mull over it although it does feel good sometimes to just whine and vent and shit. But don't let it make your day shit. cuz you'll just be miserable then.

I can give you a one word answer that will fix your problem

Heroin

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

focusing on long term right decisions instead of focusing on winning every pot, you simply cant realising this helped me out too.

+ try not to get angry, when you get angry your IQ drops so you will make worse decisions after
