well firstly, i dont think any of us knows what "1 in 3.66 people make it" means
secondly, no. not a fold. why would this ever be a fold
only way this is a fold is if by folding u make the money |

its a hyper turbo qualifier
the question is, is it worth to go all in with the best hand but without being favorite against all the hands?(being a qualifier)
i assumed that being hyper turbo it was implied that it was a qualifier |

you need to tell us how many are left, how many started, and how many spots pay out.
most of the advice you are going to get in this thread will suck because cashgame players are gonna bombard you with things like "omg, lol fold kk pf lol"
This could even be a fold with AA potentially, i don't understand how you get paid out. |

yes first limit, like 170ish ppl ~50 seats
thats why i wasnt sure, cause being the first level i could wait for a better spot
and with that many seats i could make it with 1 double up and a couple blinds steals |

if this was on the very bubble, 50 people make it 51 people left, you could fold
this is not even remotely close though, and you cant wait for a better spot when you need to double up, not just steal, and you have kk. |

neeeever fold here and its not even close.
Should be more specific what tournament though, they have double shootout hyper turbos as well as freezeouts and without knowing the tournament type its impossible the answer |

did the math and i was 39.99% to win the hand, which makes it an ez call
its just i thought i would be like 25%, which imo would be a fold |

You're always a favorite to win amongst the others even if it's multiway unless you find yourself against AA. Your chances of WINNING the entire pot are lower in multi way pot, but you'll still have the best chance of winning this.
This is always a shove esp. with 10 BB left. |

Lol did the math. Click on the Odds next to holecards . This is also faulty logic, results oriented. |

its not that i had 40% in this case therefore i made a good decision(results oriented)
is that i thought that this case, which i expected, would be around 25% |

if you even think of the 'math' here w/ KK you must have hell of a hard time playing with a lot of cards |

i just wondered if its good to go all in 5 way in a qualifier, where u dont need to build a big stack |

what do you think your odds of winning this tournament are if u fold? id say 25% or something (im guessing at the structure, could be way dif than 25% depending on what real structure is)
what are your odds of winning the tournament if u win this hand? 100%
so your odds of winning this hand is the odds of you winning this tournament.
since KK wins 40% of the time, a call is worth 40% of a win. and a fold is worth 25% of a win. call is obv better.
if u rly thought KK was 25%, then the decision is marginal.... but KK is obviously >>>> 25% in this spot. |

That's exactly the type of situation you want in a hyper turbo, there's so much luck involved because you're only shoving hands in preflop. If you win that hand you're set to win a seat as long as you don't do anything stupid for the rest of the sat. Peoples' hands are so marginal in hyperturbos as well. It's much better to try to get it in multiway with KK and go for a huge pot than blind down some and end up shoving for 4 BBs with a hand like KTo from UTG. |

Also when the action gets to you theres only 4 people in for definate so you're about 50% there (just under) against random hands
call all day its not close as they say |
