He's the typical cardrunners opponent who tries to outplay you every hand in position. Abusing button vs co when directly in position. I shoved 99 from co to his button 3bet and got called by AK, lost the flip. Folded to a couple of his pf 3bets and one time when he raised my cbet on a random flop. Is calling here as bad as it looks ?

3bet pre, induce light 4bet, 5bet allin and celebrate

as played, i prefer check flop bc more valuable to either...bank on the free card, OR if the last player bets, fold without putting money in when raised by one of the first 2 players, or get one of the first 2 players to put money in as well then call getting awesome odds

goal on this flop should be to either see free card or to have the chance to close the action without putting in 2 bets imo

i like betting a lot 3way if the other player besides the raiser is a weak idiot

but other 2 players are regs?

Think I check/call turn instead of betting myself on the turn. Sure you have a good draw but it's on the turn and you're OOP and you have no idea what to do when raised.

FWIW I think flatting preflop is totally fine. If someone squeezes I rape his soul by 4betting his ass.

i like flatting in this spot to induce a 3bet from the guy BEHIND me. as played theres basically only one question u have to ask--does he slowplay a set on a flop like this? if the answer is NO (and more than likely it is) then u played it fine.

edit: oh i didnt realize it was for 200bbs! i then agree that c/c is a much better line on the turn with this much $ behind, but with that said your river plan is going to be extremely dependent on HIS tendencies (vbets riv lite and folds/calls a c/r, bluffs a diamond, checks behind most K's etcetcetc). as played i probably fold, as it kinda sucks the 2 diamonds are the lower cards and one of them is not the king. if Kd4h3d10x its much closer but probably still a fold.

pretty sure i check shove turn for 100bb's for 200 it's probably not that bad to check shove or check call, depending on whether or not he bets diamond draws when checked to on the turn and pocket 7s through 99.

well Even with this range it is ok to call.If you remove sets from his range then this is more auto-call.
And not everyone plays godly pokah, like the famous Rekrul, and ship 200bbs on total air

taqtiX   Iceland. Nov 23 2008 20:56. Posts 338

As played turn is a fold, guy has been running you over and you've lost a stack to him. You really think he's going to ship 200bb, w/ 8 hi on the turn when he's not repping a whole lot, given the flow?

EDIT: agreed on chk/c the turn. Not just b/c you'll have to fold to a shove but he's just about never folding TP to you here and forcing him to fold weaker FDs is bad.

Funny how you first state its a snapcall and then include 5d2d, 6d2d in the range that "calls flop raises turn" and completely exclude sets and still only manage to squeeze out 55% equity.

ONLY 55% ?! LOL !

Are you kidding me ?

You are probably right that he dont have those 52dd and 62dd, but you dont know what else is in his range, i didnt included compleate air and other random drow/pairs .

And yes i think he will almost 100% raise a set given the action and the texture of the flop (only one set included TT), and i m almost certain that he will call with a draw because of the other 2 guys.

For your information there is 1480$ already in the pot and we have to call 867$ for them,
which means we neead ~38% equity to be ahead of this range/hand.

So we pwn with our ONLY 55% equity !

P.S. I dont understand when you dont agree with my analysis, why you have to be so rude ?

SakiSaki    Sweden. Nov 25 2008 14:09. Posts 9687

My point is that your range assesment is pretty terrible, villian had to be completely fucking suicidal to shove complete air(this is superlol) or draws on the turn after we lead on this board 4-way and continue betting the turn. It is way more concievable that villian flats a set to invite more ppl into calling on the flop. Im not saying this is very likely, I just say its more likely than that villian shoves turn with Kd8d 200bbs deep. Nigga please.

Im rude because you are giving completely faulty advice calling this "such a snap" when you obviously are a pretty clueless 50nl player who doesnt belong in this forum in the first place.

Ok, dont you consider this ?

Preflop i think he is calling very wide otb. And i believe he is very aggressive, so i dont see him not raising a set on this borad 4way, even if he have a set our equity doesnt drop with 20% because there is so much more hands that he might have.Although with the draw i think he will only flat on the flop because he wants to invite more ppl into calling + he suspects that he doesnt have too much of a FE in 4way pot given his imige. On the turn given the history, texture and action he is going to try to 'outplay' us so much here headsup.

You are rude and arrogant ! I m only stating an opinion wich is well sustained, i m not giving advice. And its pretty bad for you to tell me i m 'clueless 50nl player' when you dont know nothing of my game, and when you think 55% equity is low in this hand...
And you are not the man to tell me where i belong and where not.

And there we are at the root of this problem. To me it seems that if rekrul never threw out one of his standard one liners you wouldnt have advocated a snap in the first place. Its more like you took the opinion of a player you respect without understanding it and afterwards you try to justify it with that pretty outrageous analysis.

Rekrul has been trolling these forums for years, its his privilege because.... well he is rekrul. You should probably not take all of his monster poker advice seriously.
