Many people who are broke don't go out announcing it. I can't imagine how shitty losing 120 buyins is. I feel bad when I lose 2 buyins and take a break.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.Last edit: 17/11/2008 12:00

not PokerStars, the pokerstars employee holding the money, i dont know about the details but he were holding easily 100k, and i can see many employees running with that amount of cash.

Its obv not certain yet, but he said he was going to pay in 24h long ago, then 48hours, then he vanished for days, its getting really fishy now.

Biggest risk here is trusting the escrow with your money. Also this guy is strictly a 1/2 player. He's also planning a move-up to 2/4 alongside this?

Who is placing bets on other side? Pokerpoopy most likely has a 10-15k BR MAX. Rider also plays a mix of 1/2 and 2/4. We aren't dealing with people with deep pockets here.

100% bet on one side, escrowed money, no money to pay-off if lose. Looks like a scam to me.

I called it.

wrong.. he obv wasnt playing abc poker.

abc and robot poker are like completely diff

I think abc poker is a oversimplified term
I also believe that winning holdem players nowadays get their edge post flop to al large extent

the fact is, hes is 24 tabling. the more tables you play, the less ability you have to play those marginal spots. the fact that his W$WSF% is so low is because hes probably getting owned by 4-6 tabling regs who keep putting him into spots where normally he would/could be slightly +ev, but since hes 24 tabling he doesn't have the time or ability to make the correct decisions. going from +0.02 bb longrun in those spots to -0.02 bb or worse is why he got owned.

how its hard, these guy just made a simple transfer over a month ago to his PS account, all he need is to cash out that money maybe from another account and he leaves PS before it traces back to him, ez game.

scotty works for the vip club tho.. im sure he makes a decent grip of money. i seriously doubt 100k is a large enough sum of money for him to try and pull off some kind of scam.
