hi 87
he could also have a set very well. there is no danger whatsover in slowplaying the flop for him. your riverbet does look really weak like you have KQ or Arag. if you have any info he likes c/r bluffs on river you can happily call.
for now i would just fold. i think your better off vbetting the river somewhat stronger. when he checks he will feel weak and if you bet 48 or something i think you are just as likely to be called by K10plus or 99 as you are now. also now you don't look like you want him to fold.

i can't fold here. your small bet may induce crying calls from Kx- hands and even 8x, but it will also induce some spazzing w/ missed draws (not many out there tough: clubs, gutshot)), and weaker showdown hands.
i actually like your play, but now you gotta call because you kind of induced this. |

if this is someone you play with a lot you need to call to see what he has, to show him you're going to call in these situations, and it's only $68. in a bubble im sure it's -ev though. |

I dont like the small bet here. Your hand his completely face up for one thing the way this hand is played. Theres just nothing he can make a dumb call with except maybe KQ but even that is iffy. I'd rather just do a normal river bet, but i think most of the time you should just bet the flop. As played i think you should call though, because theres no reason to make this bet here if you dont think theres a good chance of a spaz raise (since on this particular board he cant really call with worse too often). |

if he was a solid reg, which hes not . this dude is such a level 1 thinker, that you can manipulate him into thinking he can bluff you off a weak hand here. Have to call |

Line doesn't make sense at all.
Looks to me like an overaggressive idiot who turns a pair into a bluff. Then again a very bad bluff perceived by hero could be a great bluff as well. |

At NL400, players who would dare to check-raise river with AT, make reads like that and have the guts to follow them, and think on so many levels, are few and far between...at least in my experience. You guys must be playing much better people that I am |

i immagine as a general rule of thumb if hes aggresive enough to check raise AT/AJ for value here hes aggresive enough to just 2 barrel them here more often than not
As for your river bet, you look like a fish blockbetting (in position?) and he may be getting ahead of himself, I think to be safe you can just 3-bet him here and fold out like 90%+ of his range since you look like a big fish the way you played + bet it // you can easily be slowplaiyng a big hand, but flatting is standard |

Hmm I actually really like the 3bet line idea versus certain opponents. |
