well believe it or not people do buy ps chips
its a great way to learn playing poker at the site without risking any money.
the reason people buy ps play money chips is because ps only gives u 1000 chips to start with.
so the only tables u can play at r the very low stakes table where people just go all in every hand and its impossible to play and leran how do play poker.
once u go on and play at the 150K and 200K sitouts u get to realy test your poker skills against people who r much more carfull with their money.
also - ps chips r actully worth money - check out throughout the web there r at least 10 sites that r buying and selling ps chips on a daily basis.

its just that there is a certain amount of chips u can sell
and im left with over 10 million.
the price those sites r selling chips in is 16$ (!) for i million of ps chips which is twice than what im ready 2 sell them for

lol @ thinking the players at 200/400 play any better than at 5/10. you can definitely put yo skillz to the test at 400k pc buyin.

im not talking about the 200/400 tables.almost 90% of the players there r poor players .
sitout tournaments of 18-27 players with a 200K buy in is a diffrent story.try and win one of those.

Have you ever tried, say, 55$ SNGs at pokerstars? Iam just wondering if you can really compare the level of those playmoney tournaments to anything?

You can tilt them off to other players instead of real money. Don't jump on someone who is probably offering a better deal than the market is. (i haven't checked if 16$ is true myself)
Just because you don't need play chips doesn't make them useless. I would second OP-s thought that higher play money games are harder than the lower ones. Kind of goes without saying... Just because they aren't played for MONEY doesn't mean there isn't a skill difference. Good luck !

probably is a skill difference, but if youre going to buy 1mil playchips for $16 might aswell play nl2 right?

edit: because when youre playing with playchips you paid for, they're no longer "playchips"

all i wanted is 2 sell my 10 million ps chips,which i did,ty.
people do buy those chips 2 play at the higher stakes tables - u wont find any poker pro's like u prob r,but u'll find less morons who go all in every second hand,thats for sure.
instead of playing and losing real money,u can pay 8$ for a million chips and play for hours on hours 2 improve your game.
looking forward 2 c u all on the wpt final table
