ugh this is really painful. i don't mind just betting the flop, but it's ok to check as well. i can't really complain with the way that you played it, and i think i'm pretty open to just cry calling the river with your hand over your eyes and a huge grimace on your face |

Why are you not betting this flop when you are HU with a 62/24? Even though he will fold a lot of hands he will also call with a lot of hands, a lot of them being draws, which you let get there by slowplaying. Just betbetbet it on all streets. As played I don't even know what to do on the river because it is such a wierd spot but I would probably end up calling and go on tilt if I had the worst hand because I played it this way. |

the river is such a gay spot, avoid by betting flop etc...,. I almost have to agree with just closing my eyes and clicking call. |

if this opponent is one to make a lot of big bluffs then i really don't see a huge problem with checking the flop. yeah... some small part of his range is gonna be draws but i really think that if he's very bluffy you might be extracting a lot more value by checking the flop and letting him bluff... you really do pretty much crush the board aside from this runner runner situation |

so basicly u guys say that I should bet mega dry flop with set ip ?! I pretty much think its more profitable to show some kind of "weakness" wich checking and letting him bluff. And as played its most likely that I'm beat on river ? |

there are a lot of gutshots which he calls the flop with.
And yes, just bet bet bet especially vs some 62/24 donk who will call u with bottum pair or any gutshot |

if you have a read that he's bluffy and will bluff the turn, then you could argue for a check behind on the flop. i still like betting flop more because then he could check raise. and you can trap him on the turn. |

i think he has a six. I fold this so ez
checking flop is ok but you dont really state a reason for doing it and i'd really only do it with history and NEVER as my standard play. |

i havent yet reached these stakes but i would just call the over bet on the turn in case he has the straight or a flush draw, dont want to lose a big one! |

thats why you have to reraise him, so calling its not profitable for him.
and I think beting flop will result in the guy raising your bet, and you going all in and he calls or folds, eitherway you win unless a suckout but you didn't let him make his hand |
