I thought Logiabs seemed like a pretty legit guy.. I haven't been on msn much so idk if he's been on, but we shared a leggopoker account for a few months and he transferred me the money right away and didn't mess with the password or anything |

I would have never staked a guy like Logiabs in the first place.
Such a strange guy, definately not trustworthy.
I really wish that he has not scammed you, and you get everything back, but I do believe that you will never see your money again tbh. =/ |

the following option is possible......
Logiabs got a second stake (????) and didnt want to risk the second stake being stolen by Loco, so he changed the password. and he isnt being online due to his father's hearth attack. |

what i derive from this is that Logiabs made a deal to play NL50 with 2 different people in order to play NL100, and didnt want either of you to learn that.
Shady yes, but based on the comments from previous stakers youll get your money back.
Lets hope! |

wtf are you talking about? why would loco steal logiabs other stake? and besided they agreed on it, so he broke the rules of the stake and it is pretty clear loco isnt gonna see his money at least for a while, if ever. |

Online poker itself is an underregulated industry and that scares me alone.....Online poker staking isnt just an underregulated industry its like the most abusable thing ever made.....i have never staked anyone or been staked because of this....your basicly trusting someone you met through the internet with large sums of money(most of the time).......just always seems like worst idea ever. Unless of course you know the money means nothing because they make good money already playing online.....but then they arent looking for stakes? |

What the fuck does regulation on staking have anything to do with...anything? Any sort of regulation on poker staking online is neither practical nor realistic.
The solution is simple. Only stake those that you have a network of trust with at the least (friend of a good friend). Or if you want to go the risky way of staking a competent but outside your network (even the slightest possibility of being shady) player, look at it like a gamble...much like what EVERYONE does once in awhile in poker or business dealings. People get screwed over in gambles all the time. Too bad. It's your responsibility/judgement call from start to end. |

Oh and I'm obviously not saying someone who would renege on their staking deal isn't an absolute scumbag faggot. He/she obviously is.
That is irrelevant to my point. |

desperate people do despicable things. he may have justified it in his mind if he is choosing between his father's life or something (just speculating of course). you just can never trust people esp. when money is involved. |

Dont make stupid generalisations based on one / few cases.
I got at least 1-2 friends that I wouldnt be worried about a single dollar missing from my account even if they are in their worst life situation ever. |
