not sure about my answer actually.

my first thought was to check raise this flop, but it definatally leads to a problematic turn decision.

check-call balances ur range so u can have a flush when club hits on turn

Most other club draws i think u gotta play for stacks

You should mix it up in this spot between c/c or c/r, when you c/r and get called sometimes c/rai turn sometimes bet/call allin. IMO at least

MezmerizePLZ    United States. Oct 04 2008 15:28. Posts 2598

Don't forget the fact that by checkraising you instnatly win the $250 or whatever thast in the pot, thats huge, aswell as him calling with worse draws and folding turn, i also believe its very likely he'd fold AK on the turn to a c/r bet line, and if you c/r check turn you will get tons of free cards, and if he bets i just shove it in even though its probably -ev it makes you tough to play against

I hate calling this preflop, you just can't profitably play this out of position vs competent aggressive players. If he keeps repopping you with position on this table I suggest you leave given that the deeper the stacks get the harder he'll be making it for you. And yes I know it sucks

As played it's a pretty clear check-call.
