He has a shitload of improving to do .

thought so as well. but then i bought 1 month membership and there are more vids available. still only 13 vids up so far

can these vids be downloaded to view at a later time and is it drm protected??

even if PA cant articulate his thoughts well, and he probably will be able to with time, being able to pay a small amount just to see him play seems worth it..along with all the others they are all v good (tony g excluded probably)

yeah definitely a sick line up, can't wait to see the site in action... dunno why some people already say it's terrible... lol

i would also recommend a couple of things- make a couple vids free or at least much longer. 4-5 minutes is not nearly enough most commentators just warm up in that time. And make the entire list of videos visible for guests so it doesnt actually look like you only have 3 vids.

Thanks for all the feedback positive and negative. The site is brand new we have a tonnnn of things we are working on. I agree with pretty much all of the complaints and we are working to fix them.

So really guys post whatever you feel will help improve the site. What you like what you dislike etc. We really want to make it into a good site but takes time and work so any feedback we get will help a lot.

videos available for download leads to videos available for download for free via p2p. plain and simple. doubt you're ever going to see this feature being implemented.

put a drm then...

the other sites have vids avil for download and its not an issue

i dont think they are out to make a shitty site. that said, if you provided constructive criticism they could improve.

From what I can tell so far:

i don't like how you can't download the videos (it's possible you have said that this will become available later, i haven't read much of what anyone has said so i apologise if that's the case)

i don't like how none of the instructors on the site seem to have much to say to say inbetween hands or have any kind of plan for the video. whenever they win a pot it's like "and i take it down". it would be far better if you explained what you would do if the action went another way, what you would do with various other hands in that situation, and have some theory to talk about in the dead time, or like going over your thoughts on the players at the table and how you're planning on adjusting etc. i've only seen the previews and the full G28 video so i might be wrong, and infact i think G28's video is actually decent, but there is def plenty of room for improvement.

i don't like the site layout, it even took me a while to find where the videos were ;/

i do like the lineup of pros, i mean obviously the players making videos here are all awesome players and this has a ton of potential, but it just kinda seems unfinished and somewhat unprofessional in comparison to the current top instructional sites like cardrunners at the moment, both in terms of the site itself and the instruction also.

Yea I know bleh for whatever reason I dont hear them on the laptop so I didnt even know they were on. I think the software guys are going to try to lower them in the other vids I recorded and in the future I will make sure all sounds are off.

I agree very very much we need the videos to be available for download and hopefully we can get that implemented.

And before people completely dismiss the site everyone should realize when cardrunners and other sites first came out they werent anything comparable to what they are today. They have had years to work on their site along with building up content. The site is brand new a lot of bugs/layout problems etc will be fixed and for most of the instructors this is the first time they have ever made videos so as they get more experience the video quality to continue to improve.

Along with that we do provide things that no other site has. With patricks vids we have the only videos where you can see someone play 200/400 plo along with that patrick recorded his entire run in the 25k hu nl and plo tourneys on ftp and etc. So even if hes not the best in the world at completely explaining his reasoning right now its the only place you will be able to see the whole cards consistantly for someone in the biggest games.

Is there another way to pay for subscription to this site other than FTP transfer? I deposited money into FTP via my creditcard but apparently according to FTP I can not transfer to player accounts without having waited 90 days to have a successful deposit history. I have a big high stake tourney (for me anyway 3k Aussie dollar) coming up this week and would really like to study some of mig's MTT videos because his sample ones look orgasmic....

If there isn't any other way to subscribe I really think you that the site would need a better payment gateway to be developed than FTP transfers.....
Anyways if any of you fellas feel like being super generous can you give me a helping hand and transfer the subscription fee for me using your FTP account and I can ship the money to you via PS before you do it?
