Firstly it'd be created in a vacuum. Secondly, Hawking radiation. It needs to gain a critical mass to suck in enough to counteract the energy lost, it won't and therefore it'll burn out.

The vacuum might slow it down but there would still be matter for the hole to absorb since there is no such thing as a perfect vacuum, and do we know exactly how big a black hole has to be to have that critical mass? |
