Universities/College Rec's? - Anyone been to RMC?

(RMC = Royal Military College in Ontario)

This is Uni/School/Education-y Thread. I know subsidized military education includes a term of service, but I don't want this to turn into the shitstorm Wreckognize's thread was like a month ago or something. School. Not murdering. o.O

Please recommend any good countries/places to complete uni in, I don't care about going overseas being a problem. Obv this isn't an in depth thread, mostly just curious as to where some LPers are going to school / how they find or found it at those places, whether or not they traveled, why the picked the school they went to, etc.

I'm currently looking around for different unis to apply to this year, and most of the academic stuff is pretty standard. Common knowledge stuff. Go to x place if you want to study y subject. I know there are a bunch of Canadians on LP, and was wondering if anyone had been to or considered applying to RMC. Any info?

And what are you guys studying/how many of you love or hate it? I'm in the "I have no idea wtf I want to do with my life" camp.

On the serious advice tip, go to school in the US if it's feasible, generally employers (everywehere) view US educations as a + (whether deserved or not), with a few notable foreign exceptions (McGill, CambOx, LSE, Sorbonne, IIT, etc)

I go to U of O in Ottawa. Mostly because I really like living here and didn't feel like moving elsewhere. I've been a military brat my whole life so I've already moved around enough. My dad pushed hard for RMC and it's a good quality school from what I've heard about it. Plenty of sports and things and what not but it is a pretty serious environment.

ha, i studied there royal rumble ( law school), its nice for a few semesters, but erlangen is a bit too small imo.
currently at munich university, obv > Erlangen.

But October 4, 2008 will be LOL for me, as I go to Tech and I get to watch Duke's football team get crushed :D.

I went to Bentley College in Waltham, MA. its right outside boston and its one of the top business/accounting schools in the area. I think you should go to a big school with a big athletic program and good football team because thats what i would do if i had to do it over. U of Florida would be my choice
