PT or HEM?

I just recently moved up to NL25, so im finally ready to buy one of these...

Does PT3 still have alot of problems?

i'm interested to know this as well, still using pt2+pahud. Does HEM have 3bet, 4bet%, fold to 3bet etc?

Is it still possible to buy pt3 via LP?

BTW u can use PT3 on 2 computers right ? How it is about the HEM ?

i have PT3 but i've heard HEM >>>>>>>>> PT3. PT3 is not that great for me, barely an improvement over PT2 + PAHUD

I am using a trail HEM now and it took me a bit to get to understand it and get used to it but as it seems, it's so much better than at least what I saw off PT2. I know, PT2 ain't PT3 but I heard there isn't that much improvement and I read HEM was so good all the time so thought I might as well get that. I think I'll buy it next week or so when I am totally convinced and shit, right now I am still configuring everything to my liking etc.

Using HEM and it seems much better than PT3, a lot more stable aswell. If you're playing NL50 or less you can buy it for a cheaper price too.

Does Holdem manager have some Pahud integrated ?
I here like awesome stuff about HEM all time but never took a closer look so far

and does it work with Ipoker skins ?

PplusAD yeah the hud is awesome (havent tried any other) but i love HEM

pretty much the same here. always used pt2+pahud, and pt3 does both of those things fine... although it is annoying that you can't position where the stats pop up, as on ipoker I can never use the 2x min 3x min pot buttons, which are so useful for raising pf.
so could anyone explain why HEM is so much greater than Pt3? I don't mind shelling out for it, just want to know why I should

i was hoping to see something like this. i use HEM because PT3 rapes my computer if i play more than one or two tables. PT3 seems more asthetically pleasing, though. i think it would be great to see a list of pros and cons for both from someone with experience - as well as an idea of system requirements per # of tables played.

i have both and after a little while spent trying out both decided hem was much much better (tho both are far from perfect). i have not kept uptodate with the updates in pt3, maybe its usable now with most major issues fixed, anyone know?

someone please tell me how to get the pt3 hud to continuously display my stats, or I will finally be persuaded to overcome my inertia and switch to hem since pt3 has sorted out sod all yet and constantly crashes, and the hud is shit.

would love a refund from pokertracker, wish i had taken a bit more time to read over everything like 'no refunds' and tested the latest 'complete' version of the software which obv turned out to be complete dogshit

weird, pt3 has never crashed for me an continuously displays stats. you just have to start site auto-import or whatever.

im using a combo of PT2+PAhud, and also PT3 hud for a line of 3bet/4bet stats. but PT2 is all i really need. apparently PT3 is releasing a new update soon and it will fix the hud's lag when you open 12 or more tables, so hopefully that will make it usable

It helps to know who have used both HEM and PT3 as only using one or comparing HEM to PT2 doesn't really help. That said I think the simple possibility of an improvement for a even a micro stakes player is worth the small price so I likely will be trying out HEM in addition to PT3. It's just a matter of setting aside the time. PT3 does the job (heck pt2+pahud did) but this isn't the only time I've heard people raving about HEM.

For those HEM loyalists is there a way to quantify what about HEM is better? PT3 had some serious crashing and lagging issues at first but they seem to be working out the kinks. Was performance the only major issue?

At the end of the day - I'm glad there's competition in the market.

Now that I think about it - I think DC has a relationship with HEM. I'm certain Krantz has used it in some vids and it's possible there's vids specific to HEM setup etc that I should check out. If I learn more I'll report back.

I bought PT3 when it first came out, and took about a week before i went back to PT2+PAHUD.

I bought HEM a week ago and use that now, mostly cause its way faster than PT2.

PT3 lags like hell and runs sloooow with huge databases and crashes and does gay stuff, HEM doesn't appear to have these problems yet

It is possible to convert DB from PT2 > HEM? I would like to buy HEM soon.

my pt3 trail was going well for me too until I died of dysentery.

Ive bought both and pt3 was really dissapointing. HEM is really good though

HEM is so ugly and newbie looking, and it was also a pain to setup. And the trial is like 10 days, thats hardy enough time to access the programs strong and weak points. PT3 fully satisfies me, it does bug sometimes, but its well worth the benefits it provides.

i disagree, i can pay attention to the games and think i still gain extra benefit from having a 3bet%
edit: not that i depend at all heavily for any stats. but if im gonna have vpip pfr af showing for my reference i might as well also have 3bet if its available, hell why not

I still use PT2 just don't see the need to get PT3 or HEM since I don't actually use HUD or anything while I'm playing
