I am a fish myself to be honest. I play far higher stakes than I should with my BR but I find anything below NL25 you barely ever get any sweet FPP, and bigger pots are more exciting anyways.

I really don't think he misread the board, he was a 92/43 with backwards aggro and doing tons of retarded crap as you can see
I bet he just thought the other person who seriously had a 0.3 total aggro was full of it, or he could make a move
