i dont get it, cant the tourmanet director give him fkn warnings? i guess you cannot suspend a superstar from a final table but hes language was sooo abusive and still they kept giving him alcohol, im pretty sure theres rules against that.

just watched both episodes too.

and i am very curious. i remember reading some article about how new rules about wsop 2008 have been set. they were strict as hell, even including a sitout penalty for too loud celebrations, and other stuff.
then i watched 50k horse event, scottys behaviour and the directors "response" and i dunno what to say lol :S

thats the worst fucking apology ever. talk about not being remorseful @ all for ur actions. fuck this guy hes a fucking douchebag. the only thing that apology was missing was another douche bag "babyyyyyy." frinkx nailed it and that apology was a joke. he probly didnt even write it, his shitty PR ppl wrote it after scotty berated them telling them theyre morons for not having it prepped before the airing. i hope i never have to meet this douche if i play in vegas.

yeah i was really impressed with erick, and i have a lot of respect for his game. i think he plays very well. and yeah wtf scotty is by no means the best player. he was horrible @ razz in every facet, he sucked tremendously @ all the stud games for that matter. pathetic, what a luckbox.

I berate fish when i lose my mind from a bad streak. Can't help it.

And besides... we're all aware that were playing against idiots, if berating them makes them play even worse, I see no good reason not to do it. I know I've played worse vs annoying chatters. Obviously if they'd play less or play better, thatd be a good reason not to.

And don't even try to convince me theres a moral reason to act nice, when the sole purpose of our profession is to rob retarded people out of their money.

Why is everyone so impressed with erick? Maybe i missed something that was in the actual broadcast. Looks like he started talking shit and quite probably went on life tilt then busted his stack.

@Rhaegar, Imo its not about morals its about keeping them at the table and when they bust making them want to reload and be happyish losing to you. Also just generally if u decided to play live this is probably a better way to go about things otherwise u will get stabbed at some point =D

The arguement of 'if it makes them play worse then go ahead and if it makes them play better just dont.. ' is probably reasonable but tbh i think people are more likely to do shit like hit and run and not reload vs you if you start talking shit.. Obv this isnt true for all people but meh generally i think it is. Even if they dont reload that one time, maybe they come back next week and keep coming back as long as you're friendly about busting them.

Surely fish should be made to feel as comfortable as possible and be told they are playing well, not the other way around?

Anyway this 'apology' was worse than actually not apologising imo. I read a quote from the UK magazine 'Inside Poker' where he also claimed the whole thing was a set up and he wasn't even finishing his drinks- just putting on an act ;d
