i dont think you called because it didn't make any sense. you call here only if you have a really specific read on the guy. i think you called because you had the SECOND NUT FLUSH, wanted to spite catch a truly random bluff, and couldn't lay it down. true story.

56 does make sense in some way, still its an EV- call imo.

meh if hes flatting flop and checking behind turn then i think im calling here vs alot of opponents.

Here is a simple concept to think about: I'd rather lead river for value than check-call.

So i think from that, you can figure out how bad a check-call is
