Yeah, sick stuff. We were like WTF drugs?
9.69 is 37.15 km/h on average. Which means his top speed would be like, 42 km/h? LoL |

Basically Usain Bolt, a huge 6ft+ Jamaican broke WW in the 100m final with a time of 9.69.
Towards the end of the race, he eased off and was showing off to the crowd. Meaning he could have gone even faster if he'd continued to push himself.
He's a freak, he takes like 40 steps to do the race. |

So sick, I am wondering why he would stop and show off. The world record on 100m could have been CRUSHED, this guy should be able to hit the 9.5's easily.
He's without a doubt going to crush the 200m-WR as well. That's today tight?
I hope SO badly that this guy does not turn out to be another sprinter on drugs... But it seems impossible to do this without, lol. |

Ok slightly off-topic but WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOUTUBE? I clicked that youtube video above expecting to see the race. Ok it wasn't the race, so I clicked the related links - WHY ISNT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM THE ACTUAL RACE? And why does half of them have annoying popups inside the video??
The ad-links inside videos are just ridiculous..
GHFDDFG
Why is the best quality video of his race I've been able to find, a fucking homemade video recorded with a shaky hand?
Is there a ban on posting actual olympic content on youtube or something..? |

god, he really is out of the world
he is beyond 'not normal', because running under '9' is already surreal. But, have you seen other guys breaking the 100m record? They were all shitting his pants while doing it, while he was like running in the first part and relaxing on the other.
This man is not born in this world, with or without roids. |

He said right after the race that he didn't realize he had gone that fast. He celebrated because he knew he was going to win which is fine. The impression I got from his short post-race interview was that if he had realized he was setting the WR he would have pushed it right to the line. |

naw dawg they train to peak for major events when they first start out, then big money events afterwards in europe once they can book large appearance fees as olympic/world champion
in europe events they have win bonuses ie. win X races in euro series get 1M etc
so he just wanted the olympic shit so he can go after that stuff and get it easier, they prolly have world record bonuses too in those events |

No roids - He trains for the 400 and 200 so he prolly has the hardest training out of all the other competitors. Plus he is Jamaican (bullet bullet bullet).
His stride is like no other, the guy is 6 5...
It is kinda good that he didn't not go all out because now sponsors will pay him mad money just to see him run the next time he chooses, because they know he is capable of breaking it again and again |

What I meant was I don't think he realized he was on world record pace when he let up. He probably just got caught up in celebrating a Gold medal which was the goal he was focused on, setting a WR was probably the furthest thing from his mind. I'm just saying if he had known he was on pace to run a 9.4/9.5 I don't think he'd have let up .

Ridiculous if true and this is how they enforce it.
What about all the other countries (ie swedish television broadcasts the olympics, have they somehow managed to stop youtube from allowing olympic videos from ANY source)? |

The guy is fast enough to have busted the WR in race simulation training.
I remember this kid when i ran track in high school and he was the fastest 200m junior in the world. I had no real doubt he would win this race but i didn't know he would trash it like this
I doubt he thought it through enough to sandbag an olympic final for the $ he could get in the future from repeatedly breaking the WR. He just looked over to see if asafa was near him and when he wasn't he just started celebrating. |

This sounds absolutely ridiculous to be honest... I mean, there are other countries in this world besides the USA, I know, sometimes they obviously go unnoticed but they have television here as well where they show the Olympics. If the NBC would have the rights over the Olympics how would they ever be able to show it here ?? |

imo i dont think his chest pumping was any worst than the chick who ran the marathon taking like 4 extra laps around the track. thats just stupid imo after running 26miles. when he was interviewed he seemed really humble imo, and also his prerace preolympic interviews he has a ton of humility from what i saw. i was glad he won and he is rly fun to watch. |
