I assume hes a tight player so I don't see him having an 8 or 9T here
AK/AA/KK would bet the turn since theres so many draws and he'd want to build a pot so he can shove the river giving me good odds to call
and I highly doubt QQ would do this

just got me confused when he snapcheck turn and instashove the river

Preflop is suspicious; I'd just fold. River looks horrible. You can't really have a drawing hand cold calling a reraise preflop so I doubt he cares about the draws and he probably missed a c/r on the turn.

The river bet to me looks like the sort of bet that is meant to look like a bluff but is really like KK or 88. The problem I have is that your hand looks like exactly what you have (99-QQ).

I hope Myth answers this one.

i'd rather just 4bet/get it in pf because the original raiser is fairly loose from when i use to play with him (not too long ago) and therefore if floch76 is a multi-tabling regular, then we can usually assume that he's 3betting with a semi-wide range, which would make 4betting profitable

i don't really expect many 1/2 players to be capable of bluffing shoving this river, especially with no history. i've also seen a lot of regulars at 1/2 and 2/4 take this same line with AA, AK, and sets. so i'd just fold

In addition to what TimDawg said, you usually play very tight at 6max and while he may or may not have picked up on that, I think given your tight image, he'd be pretty retarded to bluff here. So you should really ask yourself if you've seen him random spew?

Floch76 is never bluffing here.

and I can see him checking turn w/ AA;KK;AK

ya well obviously I'm a station when I see a weird line that doesn't really make sense for a big hand

so he had 77

Of course it was a good shove, I won

wtf his line makes perfect sense for tons of hands that beat you, why would you ever say that his line doesn't make sense? the fact that you think it makes no sense...makes no sense

if he has any kind of sick hand that is eager to play for stacks, he assumes you have something when you flat the flop (since you'd shove a draw) so he checks to let you protect your hand and commit yourself, instead of shoving to allow you to make a solid laydown. the board is really drawy so you're extremely likely to protect your hand. OR he checks for information planning to possibly make a big laydown if you do something like instashove the turn, but if you pot control the turn then he's definitely value shoving the river (KTs type hand). OR he has such a strong hand (like 9T) that he just checks in a sortof inverted panic mode, not really thinking about his play and just praying you'll fire. ALL of these hands and thought processes are completely consistent with his line

anyway this is awful

with JJ i prefer to 4bet pre to protect my hand and then just get it in and if he has QQ+ it's a cooler and if he has AK then i'm gonna win on stars but lose on fulltilt

and peeling flop here is only good if he is a really out of line 3bettor from the blinds but you have no read so if you flat preflop then fold flop

if your comfortable peeling this flop, then your almost always better off getting it in pre

I'm just going to say that this check flop to induce a bet and bet river when that fails is perfectly sound logic. Don't see what has you so confused. That river bet screams value bet.

Nitting it up since 2006
