If you saw how close it was last year, I think you could tell Nadal was going to win either this one or the next one. I'm sure Nadal is going to take over the #1 ranking by the end of this year if Federer does not win the US Open.

Yeah but I had guessed Nadal would win next year rather then this. Although Nadal was hungry for the win and is a great player Federer had the opportunity to win his 6th Wimbledon on a row, which is a record worth fighting for. Now he has to share the title win Jonas Bjorkman I think. He also has to share the most wins on a row on Wimbledon with him.

The point is Nadal is learning how to play grass and more importantly beat Federer on grass faster than Federer is learning how to beat Nadal on clay.
