Nazta, my irl friend who posted a couple pages ago about his monk build for hc, couldn't play much because when he got to a1 hell he always had lag oscillating between 300-1k ms. He always claimed he only lagged in hell. These days it's much better I guess, I didn't spike too much over the last week, just that when it happends, even with 40k hp in a3 hell, it can be fatal real quick.

Death story:
After maintenance today, I entered the "ghom zone" (forgot the name, something like bastion lvl 1), there was a named licker waiting for me with illusion/arcane/???, my gargantuan/enchantress attacked it, he multiplied, mass mass load lag, couldn't click stairs back up, dead. My graphics are on low settings, with a very decent comp.

This game is too much of a timesink! I'm also too addicted to this game, I need to let it go. ;o

i havn't had any lag so far..i have shockingly reliable and consistent internet service though

edit: of course as I say that I can't get into the game b/c it freezes on the "retrieve heros list" login part

Alright, I've been pretty patient with all of the problems D3 has had so far, but this is getting pretty crazy as far as frequent service interruptions, awful UI design and functionality in the auction house, bland and generic itemization, absurd and awfully tuned inferno difficulty mode, the recycling of Act 3 and 4's town, the small and extremely linear game world relative to the amount of grinding they built into their game, the fucking assholes couldn't even think of a new theme or perspective on the themes of act 1, 2, or 4, all of which are recycled from Diablo 2.

At least when you play slots at the casino you get free drinks and there are more than four different slot machines.

Activision has destroyed blizzard's soul, pure business people run the show now and they've torn out and devoured the heart of gaming like they do with any other product.
