Actually i have a full set of MF on my inventory which is far worse from my main gear.

When i find champs i just burst them down until theres 1 left with close to 3% hp then i run backwards while i equip my whole MF gear and kill it.

Works wonders.

i threw a forum together for us to basically have more room for d3 chat, and threads.. chekc it out let me know what u think.. if ppl actually start using it ill make it bigger/better

whats the poitn of the damage in wizard's staff? do they affect the spell dmg?
how do i know exactly whats the dmg range for my spells?

dmg are all about ur weapon dmg raidern
so a wizard can have an axe if its better for him,

Raidern go into gameplay options and set Show Advanced Tooltips. You will find what you seek.

While you're in gameplay options you should also turn on Elective Mode which lets you put any skill in any slot, and move them around on your hotbar.

anyone else think gems will appreciate in value over time? (at least until somewhere a ways down the road when the market is saturated with max lvl gems)

I doubt it, pretty sure gems will only depreciate over time unless blizzard adds in a gem sink. The price of gems is decreasing because gems are never used up. You can always remove them from your equipment so the supply of gems on the market will never go down. As players find more and more gems the supply of gems will only go up while demand will remain the same.

So i just beat hell with a barb and went right into inferno with decent gear (everything cost 100k+ on AH and will be a chore to upgrade). And im getting owned by most everthing in inferno, even some regular mobs are giving me trouble and hitting for 1/6 of my hp . Wondering what to do next? Are there places to farm up in hell or early inferno? Or is the idea of inferno just to wipe 15 times on almost every elite pack until you finally get some disgusting gear?
Also i dont seem to be having any more trouble than any of the other randoms who im in the games with so I dont think its my build or playstyle. I've got like 11k dps 43k hp 70% dmg reduction from armour but shit resistances.

resistances is what you need, start focusing on that and not so much on hp

Your gear is nowhere near decent tbh having 11k dps and shitty resistances is kinda bad. Barbs should have the least trouble farming act1 on Inf. It gets shittier for them after mid act2 ++ but they pretty much rape before that. You should have all resistance on all of the items that actually have the stats. And buy some 800dps 1hand w a shield - they are like 600k-1kk atm prices r sinking hard.


Beat Belial @ inf w a wizard and now normal mobs @ act3 rape me and i cant even hit elites they kill me too fast and gear upgrades would cost 4-5mil each so im kind of stuck .... perhaps ill take 3-4 months break until everything s nerfed and prices drop so there s actually a point in playing a wiz :D.... even spent 500k to upgrade my templar but same shit

P.S. Too bad you play a barbarian its the only class that cant farm the Act 4 Pre-Izual named mob that drops 900dps+++ weaps, thats how people get their weaps - noone rly buys from AH thats why prices r so high for 1k+ weaps

Re-check your build. Vit / all res / armor / str / int should be your biggest concerns in that specific order. You should farm the warden and skeleton king.

i just got to inferno as well, on barb. Seems really easy so far, easier than hell for me because i am using the auction house now.

just took down skeleton king and have only died about 5 times before that (on elite mobs).

my dps is 17k, health is 35k. Im near-one shotting normal mobs with seismic slam (reduced cost) and using a two hander

when im facing the tougher elite mobs i sort of just run around doing the ground stomp/seismic slam kiting until i can use that ability that turns you into a super saiyan level 5 with insanity glyph.
i have high crit/high strength and increased crit damge. almost 0 resist.

I think the best way of playing the game is by going tanky. There's no variance, just get geared up and eventually you'll be able to kill everything, though it takes some time to achieve.

I've played a Wizard, then rerolled to DH after the nerfage. I can do alright in Act 4 Inferno as DH. The thing is that these glasscannon classes are very gimmicky and some mobs just counter them straight. There are some mobs that are just impossible. First off, my HP value, be it 50k or 1, it's all cosmetic. Since I don't have the necessary defensive stats the game wants me to have, they all hit me for like +100k. So anything that kind of just charges at me out of nowhere is tilting as fuck. Oppressors have this charge/blinkstrike, and there's really no conditioning for this. They do it at any range, at any given time. You cannot react to it, that shit is like 2 frames, you see him, and he's over your dead corpse. Fallen angels are also really annoying since they can charge from offscreen, their precharge animation is short and barely recognizable. AND they taunt you when they kill you. Anyway, mobs that have these traits are just impossible. You've got to hope that you kill them during your smoke. It really doesn't help that Blizzard sucks dick and cannot netcode for shit. Reacting to anything is impossible. I feel like I'm playing Contra 3D for the most part. Staring at a 28sec respawn timer is super tilting too. What the fuck am I to do for 28sec. The penalty is my 10% repair, why the fuck do I gotta wait. Imagine if IWBTG and Super Meatboy had 28sec respawn timer, it'd be fucking stupid.

This game is great, and it's fun. But inferno isn't fun. Just frustrating.
