Good day fellow LPers, i would appreciate if you could answer rather short survey that i need for University.

1) Do you use abbreviations(E.G.: LOL- Laughing Out Loud, Interpol- International Police, ATM- At The Moment etc.) and special signs, also known as Emoticons (E.G.: , , ^^, <3 etc.) in your language, while using internet?

List from most used to least.

3) Why do you use abbreviations in your internet language?
a) Because it is convenient and takes less time than typing whole word or phrase.
b) I just got used to use abbreviation and I don’t really know why I use them.
c) I use abbreviations and emoticons, because I enjoy using it, and my chat becomes more fun.


4) How often do you use abbreviations while posting on the internet?

You know there are some sites on the internet where u can create free surveys - makes it a lot easier for both you and those taking the survey...a site i'd recommend is www.questionpro.com - free account gives u 2 surveys and unlimited answers...there are many many more sites like this one, juts the only one i remember right now...
