Don't talk about stuff that will intimidate/scare someone and this doesn't just apply to girls.
A lot of the time (and even more so in this case I would suspect) it is better to be posing a lot of questions, listening and proving you're listening by remembering things and bringing them up when they're relevant (obviously not repeatedly). It's best if you never face a girl with an argument she can't win even in her own little world because that will just infuriate and frustrate her and she'll quit playing the game of you+her. i honestly think it applies in all asian countries the same amount, though i've only been to china and korea

This is all girl related, i've had girls which you could talk about everything any time but others will never feel good about it. You can do those things when your further on and got a glimp of her personality. All depending on you and the girl, talk about your relationship or if its not going to happen. If you like her confront her with it if she's not interested you tried and had a fun time together.

Just have fun, some nice dates and thats about it.

i think theirs a difference between not entirely being yourself when you first meet a girl than plain acting and continuing to do it if you keep on in a relationship.
