Id usually either push to a raise with a strong hand or something like K9s or fold...

Theyre giving him some hard time for limping, but if he limps 4 times in sb and once on button, hes invested 3BB. Most guys raise more than this on this table..

But this limp call from the button with a mediocre hand was bad I think.
