Can someone explain why the prizes are so much smaller this year? I realize there are less entrants than last year but last year's 11th place prize was more than this year's 6th?

There was 2,000 more entrants last year with $10,000 a pop... Do the math.

They used a lot of the money from the top places to spice up the prizemoney for the players who came in 621 and the likes.
Appearently they were complaining that last year finishing in the money only got them slightly more as their buy in.
Fucking whiners. If you finish 621 out of 6300ish players you should be glad to make some money at all!!

yep last year the lowest prize was like 11K and this year it was more than 20K
