- Deiveson Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt were expected to serve as the event headliner. However on October 2, it was announced that Garbrandt pulled out due to a torn bicep and was replaced by Alex Perez, who was already scheduled to face Brandon Moreno at the event. Brandon Royval stepped in on October 2 to face Moreno.
- Robbie Lawler was expected to face Mike Perry at this event. However, Lawler pulled out of the fight in late October citing an undisclosed injury. He was replaced by Tim Means on November 2.
- A welterweight bout between Orion Cosce and Nicolas Dalby was expected to take place at this event. However on November 12, Cosce pulled out due to undisclosed reasons and was replaced by Daniel Rodriguez that same day.

I'll be in Vegas from November 20-27 for UFC 255.
Lemme know if any of you will be there.

Perez > Figueiredo.. You're kidding right?
Craig is live imo. Rua couldn't finish Little Nog old version. And it was a split dec.
And dunno... I kinda like Haru to win vs Buckley here. I think there's recency bias due to the way Buckley won vs Impa.
And it's sad Orion Cosce got injured.

Aside from Fig's power, Perez is better in every area of MMA + has better cardio.
Perez can get caught with the big power like most of Fig's opponents, but if he doesn't get caught, he should win.
Perez never gets respect, and it's usually due to him being quiet with the media, and getting headbutted in the fight against Joseph Benavidez, that led to him getting TKO`ed.
If Fig doesn't land his big punch, remember not to be surprised/shocked when you see Perez win.

I guess...
Anyway.. I kinda like some underdogs here the more I look into it. What do you think of Means and Royval?
Could be betting on Means, Royval, Lipski and Haru.

Dogs I am considering betting on when I get to Vegas on Friday:
• Perez +250
• Means +130
• Rua +150
• Royval +165
• Wright +225 (maybe decision, even though he has a 100% finish rate)
• Lipski +140
• Stoltzfus +240
Lines will get worse by Friday, so I probably won't bet all of them.

I already got Means and Royval. I'll try hard not to bet anymore. But that Haru one looks really good right
now. Lawl.

I am going to pass on Means.
Perry improved his wrestling for the Cerrone fight, then improved his wrestling a lot for his last fight against Gall. Perry has been training with Yoel Romero and other wrestlers on and off in South Florida, which is a benefit of living there (even if he isn't on a specific team right now).
If it stays on the feet, Means is more technical, but Perry can KO Means at some point. I think Perry will take tthe same approach against Means that he took against a better grappler in Gall (heavy wrestling). Perry will be the better wrestler here, and he won't need to worry about amazing TDD or submission threats.
Just seems like a good MU for Perry.

Yeah.. Maybe it's just recency bias. I liked how Tim means looked vs Staropoli when he grappled and showed decent cardio apart from the striking.
But oh well.. The money is out there. Let the variance fall where it may.

Dumb as fuck, right?
He put his own leg in the middle of Fig's legs, which made it so he couldn't move and try to pass. Basically helped Fig lock-in the submission.
Hopefully Moreno doesn't have a brain fart when he gets the next title shot. Viva Mexico~
