don't see any way ortega wins. the "lose until you find some random choke" won't work against a guy as nasty as tkz

Interesting pick with Antigulov. You don't think Grishin can handle that first couple of minutes vs him?

I like the Martinez pick. Who knows what we're gonna get with Almeida.

I think Botelho is def live.

And I like Krause but not at that price.

After seeing the weigh-in, Grishin makes Antigulov look tiny.

I am leaning toward Almeida now, but still like Martinez. Good fight either way.

Almeida physically and skillwise better than Martinez for sure. But he's a big question mark imo.

I switched to Almeida on DK. Odds are close, but he has the higher upside to score way more points via finish and decision, whereas Martinez needs a finish to score well.

1. He is a little bigger than Martinez.
2. Almeida is moving up to 145 for this fight and doesn't look small. All of his previous fights were at 135.
3. Almeida has the boxing and output advantage, and was getting owned by superior technical boxers back in the day.
4. Martinez can get the finish, but he throws more leg kicks and isn't a high output boxer.
5. Almeida is the one with the full camp. (Martinez replaced someone else)
6. This is a big step down in competition when compared to all of the guys Almeida has lost to.

No bets for me this card, just a lot of DraftKings teams. 4-5 teams in the big $15 event, and a lot of teams in the $10 late slate. I'll be back in Vegas next weekend for the Khabib/Gaethje card.

My final picks:

• KZ > Ortega
• Chookagian > Andrade (Chookagian supposedly retiring = auto fade, but...)
• Crute > Bukauskas
• Silva > Krause
• Almeida > Martinez
• Gamrot > Kutateladze
• Robertson > Botelho
• Park > Phillips
• Mullarkey > Ziam
• Grishin > Antigulov
• Nurmagomedov > Striegl

Quick and easy win for Said...

I only have 4 teams in the big event on DK, but they are dead already because I chose to avoid Said due to his price. He'll likely be on the winning team.

That being said, I have 15 entries in the late slate event, which will begin with the last 8 fights on the card.

That stoppage was ridiculous. Antigulov wasn't even hurt.

Glad that fight wasn't on the late slate on DraftKings. 1 more fight, and my night begins.

Ziam got the robbery... Glad I didn't need that fight.

On to the late slate!

I have 15 lineups. My key fighters are Park, Robertson, and KZ.

I also have Almeida and Claudio Silva mixed in there.

If I have some live teams toward the end of the night, I'll post them here.

Park doesn't even care that he won, he's just happy he scored more GnP than Chimaev... xD

Fight Metric just screwed everyone.

They only gave Park 10 total strikes for that entire fight. Phillips even out-landed Park in R2, according to Fight Metric: http://ufcstats.com/fight-details/50e0bcba7551a25f

Here we go. Let's see if he's back.

I got my money on the other guy.
