Masvidal has shown that he researches opponents pretty good and Nate Diaz has shown that he doesn't exactly change his style this will be fun. Problem is Nate knows his reach so goddamn well it doesn't matter

I bet Masvidal tries to pressure Diaz right away and then its going to be super fun

Masvidal and Gastelum are easy money, Ivanov and Rozenstruik are good bets too imo.

Ivanov is a terrible match up for Lewis imo but I don't get why bookies would place him the favourite

Masvidal vs Diaz
I don't know Masvidal very well but isn't he supposed to easily control the fight if he is able to often kick the legs of Diaz?
He has a muay thai background and he should be able to low kick, although that's now as easy as it sounds.
Pettis couldn't really do it and as far as I remember only dos Anjos was able to employ that strategy against Diaz.
Mcgregor also managed to do it for a while in their second fight.

Till v Gastelum
I'm not sure where Till is with his weight, especially with his travel issues. Additionally, the time difference (jet lag) may have a negative effect on him as well.
Overall I think Gastelum is way more skilled and would be able to counter Till very effectively. Till's chin could be questionable as well after that KO in March, and he is gonna get hit for sure.
The odds on Gastelum are dropping which could mean that Till is not in a good situation.

There are several other spots on this card that you could win money on.

I like Anderson to beat Walker. Even if Walker wins, there are safer spots to win money and at better odds.

I made a lot of DraftKings teams for this event, so much so that I didn't feel like typing them all into an Excel file.

I am heavy on Gillespie, Anderson, Masvidal/Diaz, Good, and Shahbazyan.

----------

My final picks:

• Masvidal > Diaz
• Gastelum > Till
• Luque > Thompson
• Ivanov > Lewis
• Gillespie > Lee
• Anderson > Walker
• Burgos > Amirkhani
• Shahbazyan > Tavares
• Arlovski > Rozenstruik
• Chookagian > Maia
• Good > Rencountre
• Dawodu > Arce

And there goes my night...

That's what Gillespie gets for trying to strike for an entire round and not attempting any TDs.

I thought the fight would be stopped sometime in Round 2, due to how bad Diaz's eye looked after Round 1.

I assumed they'd let it go on until the end, but that New York doctor clearly doesn't watch enough high level MMA.

Canelo vs. Kovalev: http://crackstreams.com/boxingstreams/watch-dazn-canelo-vs-kovalev/

They waited almost an hour to start this boxing main event because of Masvidal vs. Diaz. (pre-fight hype, videos, walk-ins, introductions, fight rounds, pauses between each round, stoppage pause, announcing the result, and finally the post-fight interview. Then, Kovalev and Canelo finally walked to the ring, then national anthems, etc.)

Maybe longer than 1 hour? I lost track. Boxing analysts said they "lost this round" to MMA, since such a big boxing fight was forced to wait for an MMA fight to end before they could start.

I don't get why they stopped it, guess the doctors knows best though and Masvidal was 3-0

Glad Walker got KOed, he was talking shit as if Corey didn't matter, now he gets to learn he has to earn the title shot

Think Ivanov got robbed tbh, but not really surprising since he's fighting in NYC. His fights usually go to decision. Impressed that Lewis didnt gas after a round

Nate's eyebrow was almost hanging, nasty cut and it wasn't a random cut he was getting beat up bad, I think it was the correct decision.
