Logan was just an awesome movie period
Winter soldier was a great Jason Bourne Movie
Thor Ragnarok was just an awesome comedy/drama blend
I feel like they all have their own identity besides the predictable/boring 3rd act in almost every movie besides Infinity War
93% Sure!

you have to be conditioned to like superhero movies imo
One of 3 non decent human beings on a site of 5 people with between 2-3 decent human beings

I watched this yesterday and didn't get excited about it.
From what I can tell, they didn't show the bad guy(s) in the movie, so I have no reason to be excited for a possible showdown between Good vs. Evil. There was a brief scene (less than 1 second) where they showed some type of bald alien guys with pointy ears, but that was about it.
Most casual Marvel fans like myself who only watch the movies and don't read the comics, need to be pulled into the storyline via the trailer. The Captain Marvel trailer fails to pull me in.
Superhero movies have destroyed the seventh art for the past decade, it has never been in such a pitiful form all due to millenial dorks who used to read comics and haved developed a fucking taste all these years ffs!.
The problem with feature films is that the plots are NOT countless, so logically the good stuff will end at some point in time. The films peak has passed and it was in the 90s. It is a dying industry now.
Series on the other side are centered more around the characters and their development than the plot/story, so these will ALWAYS have quality stuff.
Films may have their renaissance when the technology escalates drastically allowing people to create films only with their imagination, but I doubt this will come in our time.

There hasn't been any good cinema in years now, except for the occasional movies from some directors like Scorcese/ Inarittu/ Villeneuve etc.
If you want to watch quality productions - go for the TV, there are tons of insanely good series and all of the movie stars are in TV now as well.
villeneuve is rebooting dune. that should be good.
Looks cool to me. She's supposed to be super powerful and will defeat Thanos. The marvel movies have been mostly very good and have continued to get better. They're getting to the point now though where the heroes are too powerful
Dude you some social darwinist ideas that they are giving hitlers ghost a boner - Baal

she s not gonna defeat Thanos lol, nobody can defeat Thanos, he will give up his glove on his own, they re gonna mix the Doom saga with this one... otherwise in comics Adam Warlock is the guy that comes and helps people, Nebula manages to steal the gauntlet from her father
then again they did overdo the powers of the avengers in the first infinity war, none of them should even be able to pinch Thanos, let alone come close to getting the gauntlet, they should literally be ants compared to him
also why they did Captain Marvel instead of Adam Warlock is beyond my mind, considering Adam Warlock was already hinted at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy 2

You didn't think this movie was kickass?
Watchmen television series is coming to HBO in 2019.
Watchmen I didn't like
The extended cut was better
But it all was meh compared to the graphical novel that I randomly picked up in the library
The pirate cartoon simmultaneous plot couldn't be done justice
The main actress just sucked
I'd give the extended cut 7/10

You know movies like gladiator or Titanic used to smash box office and win Oscars right? (LOL)
There are awesome movies coming out granted with smaller releases
Also how can you be serious about the trailers guys?
Yeah sure The hulk in trailer made me more likely to see ragnarok in the cinema. But it spoiled the whole planed hulk storyline and deprived me of an orgasm in the cinema.
I'm sick of trailers revealing big plotlines
The worst one must go to star trek beyond that pretty much sunk the movie
wait are you saying Gladiator is actually a bad movie lol
also I wouldn't trust the oscars to point me to good movies, most of the people even voting for the prizes havent seen all movies.... its a joke political competition made to celebrate the minorities for no reason... otherwise movies like "Get Out" would never be considered better than 5/10 with 40 metascore on imdb
then again they can't really give an Oscar to Di Caprio, McConaughey and Amy Adams every time they get a movie out, cause they should, even if the movie sucked they always play their roles perfectly
its kinda sad cause metascore used to be a good indicator if a movie is actually meaningful or if its gonna be pure trash (e.g. movies with 8+ score but low metascore) but nowadays even that is politicized

I would guess that around 99% of people who go to marvel movies have never really read comics. This shit is just shoved down people's throats and they swallow it and ask for more because they are braindead.

Thanos is the protagonist in Marvel to be honest

I love those cartoon parts, that was also the only good part of kill bill, and I agree that the main acress was awful, the guy who played Adrian was pretty bad too, but the plot/characters are good

That stuff was just copied
I mean 7/10 for the extended cut ain't bad
But it doesn't compare to the source
The dude that made the graphical noven even said that he didn't like people making a movie out of his work

Ah come on
Gladiator is an awesome movie, fuck yeah, but a popcorn flick, hardly actual masterpiece in terms of filmmaking script etc. So many crowd pleasing cliches in there :D
I feel like these days Great equipment getting cheaper, most studios have these alt smaller production companies the platform for great movies is much wider
