WOW!
Cejudo got the win! And he called out the winner of TJ/Cody. |
1 min of being a champ and he is already making smarter marketing decisions than Johnson lol. |

And he's more marketable than Cain Velasquez, speaks better Spanish, is an Olympic gold medalist, and will actually fight often without getting injured a lot.
Sucks that Cain is so prone to getting injured, though... |

no flyweight is more marketable than a heavyweight, but indeed him being a "real" mexican will help market it to mexico. |

Well damn. I was doing good with my bets until Cody made the same mistake and got caught again.
His dumb ass just can't keep himself calm under pressure. |

Cody was way more flatfooted this time he didn't give in an inch, sure he has to force some exchanges but not everysingle one he became a siting duck at the end of every punch TJ threw, strange. |

TJ being so ripped makes me think he's got some great supplements at musclepharm *wink *wink
Seriously that style of his even catches Lomachenko during sparring, it's really tough to time. Cody was also being too emotional and lost again because of that. I could see him switching camps and improving tremendously. Team Alpha Shit has nothing to teach him but lose |

I'm guessing DJ doesnt get the instant rematch cause the UFC is disgusting and he pissed them off previously by turning down superfights
Cruz vs TJ please
Agree @ Garbrandt's camp being shit, Urijah Faber's guys always reach a certain point which is quite impressive but not good enough to become champs. Guy is definitely as good as TJ but he cannot perform under pressure and its all that matters.

I think cody is very efficient in his movement when he does move... but he is way too fuckin slow. Why coudlnt he fight like he did against Cruz where he would hit him then not overcommit? Dunno if it was emotions or pressure or both. |

watch the bjjscout analysis vid posted here already from the first fight
seems like Cody had a new plan using the kicks now, but he simply loves to broke and trust his speed and power when someone steps in the pocket with him, fucking TJ threw like the same 3 hooks when Cody got KD

Yeah that was on Cody. He's got cat-like reflexes but the emotions of a 9 year old. TJ is my preferred fighter but Cody can beat the guy as long as he doesn't put too much pressure on himself like avenging the alpha shits. |
