I'm not confident in either guy in the Perry/Ponzi fight.
Both guys have pros and cons in this fight.
Gun to the head, I pick Ponzi over Perry, as he's more well-rounded, attacks with more than just punches, and is bigger.
Both guys are there to be hit. Ponzi usually tightens up his defense as the fight goes on, but he is open for shots in R1. And both guys will stand in the pocket.
It would be smart for Ponzi to strike for a big in Round 1 to get Perry comfortable, then go for a take down and use his big BJJ + size advantage on the floor.
Also, Ponzi is known for being a dirty fighter. He has mixed eye pokes into his punch combinations in a few fights. His most recent fight against Gunnar Nelson showed Ponzi add an eye poke to his combo, which opened Nelson up to getting TKO`ed. (I had Ponzi in that fight, so I wasn't mad)
As for Glover, I like him here as well. |

Head says Ponzi does what Jouban did to Perry but with more damage done to Perry. Just a feeling Perry sucks him into a brawl after Ponz see's himself having success. And I'm going to side with Perry's stupid good chin there |

Good Ponz performance. Perry got tired pretty early. Neither commentator talked about it. Some effort into the TD attempts and one landed that didn't do anything kinda early |

Round 1: RDA (he was way more active and had good movement)
Round 2: RDA (he was way more active; Lawler got in his face once RDA backed off, but he never threw many punches and didn't land anything big)

Yeah RDA was something I was concerned about so I bet on him. I'll be forever a fan of Lawler though, those wars were something special. Thanks Lawler lol
Tyrone Woodley is a different beast come on RDA, he'd be a good massive underdog to bet small on though |
