Decent showing from Davi Ramos.

He displayed various skills, and showed that he still has heart in the 3rd round, even after he was tired.

Great performance by Alex Perez.

He was on Dana White's summer show called "Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series."

Marlon Moraes with the fast KO!

I didn't have any shares of him though. My teams with Sterling were already dead, so no biggy.

I was close to winning some serious coin tonight, but 2 fights ended in robbery decisions, which fucked me.

Overall, all of my picks were pretty good, just those 2 robberies...

The god damn look of utter panic on Swanson's face at the end of round 1, truly made me realize how insane this guys submissions must be. Had been sleeping on him until now, figured it would go the usual way things go when a BJJ guy meets elite fighter (hint: not well ).

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

Ortega is still easy to hit, but he has a sick chin and good cardio. His striking is about average or slightly below average for the UFC (depends on the weight class), but he is improving in this area every time we see him.

Ortega is also one of the tallest guys at 145 and is long, and can just throw a bunch of strikes to close the distance if he wants to. Weird thing is, he doesn't try to close the distance himself that much, he rather strike and let his opponent close the distance, which is where he's at his best while standing.

Last week, Ortega said in an interview that he doesn't try going for take downs since it wastes too much energy. He rather let his opponents do it. This makes sense since he's super dangerous off his back and on top, and standing in the clinch.

Edit: As for Cub, he does the same stuff in every fight. He's fast and technical for 2 rounds at most -- usually 1.5 rounds -- and then sees he can't KO his opponent and goes at a slower pace and focuses on volune over power strikes. Cub was forced to stand with Ortega for 5 rounds and had to avoid the clinch and any type of trip or body lock, just to avoid Ortega's BJJ.

I pick Holloway to smash Ortega, but Max needs a finish, or he'll fall into Ortega's trap at least once in 25 minutes.

Yeah he doesnt close the distance enough, he should go for the clinch or for a TD more often. His JJ is too sick
