i can only assume VP with recent performance had insane odds. do yourself a favor and always throw small/medium value on an underdog VP (and always bet against them when they're big favorites). them beating faze honestly isnt THAT much of a surprise even with them dogging hard to tier 3 teams recently (and faze being 17-1 or something in LAN matches events recently). not sure how much of their history u know, but its just a matter of time before they bounce back to top 10, trading games with all the tier 1s.
inconsistent teams like VP is where i've made most my money betting on CSGO. biggest bet i ever won on CSGL was Flipsid3 5% > EnvyUS (#1 at the time) 95%. had $350 on flipsid3 :D :D
Yeah I have zero history of CS scene really. I heard that Faze was on a tear this season but bet against them like a noob and took SK, then bet on Faze vs VP and they 16-1 them round 1 only to smh their way to a 3rd round loss. I have a ton to learn about the scene and I'm betting small amounts almost every hour on every event
I notice there's randomness but also a lot of luck and momentum is involved. So many leagues and minor leagues I can't keep up theres something going on every other hour. There's another Faze game in a couple minutes
That Pasha dude is unreal when he gets going with his AWP, just unreal.
Then the other team has Fallen too. Just super-elite, top tier strategies, games also don't feel like they're being "thrown" which does happen a lot in some shit games/teams

IEM Oakland just finished. was a great finals between NIP and FaZe (NIP hands down most legendary team in CSGO who have been on a giant downswing, FaZe current #1 in world)

Loved NiP and did switch my bet to them in games 3 and 5. Seems like the more team oriented cs is back, too much raw individual talent and godly aim has taken over lately with SK and Faze dominating. Frink what do you think of Space Soldiers? They're my favorite team but it seems they can't do well against top EU competition. Individually though aim-wise I think they're up there with the best teams, even better with Xantares and Calyx in there.

i havent followed the scene close enough in the past 6 months to comment on anything past tier1 teams. SS has always struggled in tier2 but are a good team to bet when they are big underdogs vs tier1 teams, especially at big LANs bc teams like SS dont win spots at every LAN and their preparation is unreal, when they come into BO1s as huge underdogs vs tier 1 teams its the easiest bet ever
i also like them tho and XANTARES is the man and a lot of people think he's one of the best, he should be in a tier 1 team probably
Xantares spray control is unmatched by anyone I know of, as I'm not familiar with Coldzera's skills in that dep. With an AK it's just mind-blowing how he knows exactly when to spray transfer and leave bullets for everybody without a reload. Just so sick

yeah saw that last night, Paz's presence was sorely missed. most my bets on SS lost for the whole event haha. DESPE the stand-in fucked up all fanboy dreams fuckn AWPER with no AWP kills made all their games feel like a 4 vs 5 Majer had to do some AWPING instead lol
