It starts 30 minutes late cuz of Lewis pulling out.

Any DraftKings team with Werdum and/or Lewis = dead. DraftKings can't do anything once the events lock, cuz the draft percentages automatically show up.

You don't get your money back. Anyone who didn't pick Werdum/Lewis automatically have you beat because they have 6 fighters vs. your 5 fighters.

People just lost thousands of dollars by that fight getting cancelled, and there's no way to get it back.

the UFC is getting fucked hard by fighters cancelling last minute, they should probably put some harsher stuff in the contracts that you also give a % of your next purse if you cancel after X day notice

So strange. Shitty thing to do to Harris's opponent if not given a replacement. Train to fight on a big card then for no reason related to you or your opponent, you don't get to perform and maybe not paid

Also agree with the notion of a penalty for future purses for last minute pull outs. Been happening way too often for the conversation to just stop at 'no..we have to keep fighters interest at the top of all priorities.' Someone like Khabib should definitely have had his future purse diminished for torpedo'ing two events. Even if it becomes an uncontrollable medical issue, ultimately, weight cutting is still your responsibility and yours only after you sign your name on the fight contract. Probably Nunes too. Definitely Ray Borg who had already had a history of it but instead just got a pat on the back and rewarded with the same opportunity right away. Prob just because DJ wants that record so badly

Not sure if this rule will be just for the regular events, or if it's for the regular + televised events.

Harris wasn't available in the televised events when the event locked, but people still had leftover teams that had Werdum vs. Lewis, so Werdum may still be live for the televised events, which would suck cuz it puts the rest of us at a disadvantage, unless Werdum gets KOed.

I don't think that makes much of a difference. They train for months if not more and lose out on all of their purse already.

One judge would've had to give it 29-27 to Green, which makes no sense.
