I dunno JBJ's last fight was terrible and he's been inactive after that. Not saying DC was amazing in his last two fights but he's clearly 10x more motivated and the more active fighter. USADA being extra watchful now also doesn't help, he's super ripped yeah but he's trying to make weight sucking in 20 pounds or more too. I won't be surprised if he gets his ass kicked this time, not saying it's going to happen. Most of all Chael Sonnen picked JBJ to win ....bet the house and your mother on Cormier lol


Chael is legendary if you look up all his picks, Against Conor on all his wins then picks him on his only loss in Nate 1 only to pick against him against vs Nate 2 and Eddie A, even picked Masvidal over Maia, Aldo over Holloway and Kelvin over Weidman recently lmao

Jones also feels like he's out of his mind a bit. Luke Thomas mostly defends him when his name comes up then he decides to say this lol

I'm rooting for Cormier. He's so short for 205 lbs. I hope he wins. And he's a sweet heart.

Evinger is going to get absolutely murdered. Swarm and overpower style except she's a '35'er who's going to try to over power a '55 man. Might seem dumb but I think only Holly Holm's style and frame could beat Cyborg

Probably small homer wager on Maia just because Woodley is the worst. Seems like one of the worst possible matchups for Maia though

Probably not even going to wager on the main but I feel some real anticipation either way for the first time in awhile. Seems like it's been awhile since we've had a big fight like this that had genuine heat behind it. Not like some contrived bullshit like Chiesa/Lee etc. And I mean, these guys' rivalry is up there in terms of real animosity. Skill level of the fight is also tops too. That Jon Jones who showed up for the press conference is a scary human

You do realize that DC fought at 207 pounds his previous fight, right? And the UFC closed its eyes. DC has always had a hard time cutting weight, he does come back great on the very next day though.

DC was previously never taken down in his career, JBJ manhandled him like a child. DC holds pride in his bronze olympics medal, yet he didn't manage to take down JBJ efficiently even once, every time he managed to do so JBJ just got on his feet. I might be wrong, it just seemed that way to me, something was off with Gustafsson, DC most likely got to him mentally before the fight.

Pretty sure that if the UFC tells him to go and weight again without using the towel trick, he will have to do so. They will obviously never do that for clear reasons, they did close their eyes though. Anyway that was not the point, the point was he is having trouble cutting weight.

All depends on what version of JBJ comes out, if OSP JBJ comes he will get mauled and Sea-level Cained for 5 rounds. Cormier vs Jones is just the most motivated DC can get. If prime JBJ comes out DC is in for a long night, that's where my doubts lie. Inactivity and USADA and all the partying will take it's toll at some point, ring rust is real.

I guess Cormier has good value at these odds, he's been active and proving himself and we don't know how Jon is going to show up
first fight was closer than people think, Cormier lost the championship rounds, im sure he will be way better prepared for this fight
