If Jon Snow s good so is Tyrion, they are both forced to do the things they do for survival without striving for glory or power

And thats why this show is so much better than LoTR, it isnt about chlidish good vs evil, its about real human conflict with all its flaws and contradictions

It was an OK episode, Ed Shereen cameo was a stupid idea though.
Agree with people saying that they have to pick up pace.

Seasons 1-2 were so much better, a lot happened in every episode. Now there is too much
buildup.

I thought the Ed Sheeran cameo was pretty cool although I may be biased because I like his music. The part where they ask Arya why she is going to King's Landing and she says, "to kill the Queen" .........awkward silence......... then LOL - so perfect

They actually showed damn near everybody in the first episode and made progress on all fronts. What more do you want?

Considering this season is super short I imagine things will move along quickly.

Sheerans cameo was shitty imo but not important

yeah agreed. I don't want to be like, taken out of the magical mystical awesome and somehow realistic fantasy universe they've created through them creating some special part for one of the world's biggest musicians that clashes with that universe. luckily 1) sheeran was just a foot soldier, and the foot soldier's perspective has actually been missing for most of the show, 2) he has a ridiculously great voice and the song they sung wasn't really distracting and 3) it was a short scene so it didn't matter. The only problem I had with it was the 'whats that song? it's a new one'- because that pretty specifically clashes with the GoT universe. But again, that by itself is unimportant because the part of the scene that annoyed me lasted for literally 5 seconds.

I also thought that Frank Hvam's* cameo in s06e10 was awesome and hilarious, so I don't mind the concept of cameo appearances, but I kinda got the feeling that 'okay, now that we know we're in the final 2 seasons, we should try to include as many friends and famous people as possible before it's too late'. And if every episode started having more cameo appearances, that'd get old very quickly.

*I also want to take the opportunity to recommend the show 'Klovn' to a greater audience. Even though it's in danish and some of the humor would be lost on the rest of you guys, I also think many of you would greatly appreciate it. To me, it's one of the most hilarious shows ever shown on tv.

dam this show has gone downhill since seasons 1-4. Happy to see the sand sneks get fucked up tho

I enjoyed Episode 2, but was hoping for a little more action.

Also, I thought the episodes were gonna be longer this season, around 20 minutes or so extra. However, Episode 1 was 61 minutes total when you include all the recap and 2 minutes of intro music and 1.5 minute of ending credits and preview for next week; Episode 2 was shorter.

Mixed Feelings....

I was mostly dissapointed by the far too short ship battle between the two Greyjoys Fleets.
I mean damn that was such an opportunity for epicness

1.) The two greatest Fleets in Westeros clash in an epic sea battle.
2.) Its the first important battle of the Great War between 2 of the 3 powerhouses in Westeros
3.) lots of important characters involved

There was such a great opportunity to get inside into the planing of the Ambush
Naval warfare tactics
Back and Forth battles

But instead the Euron Fleet comes out of nowehere
5 Minute 1vs1 Battle sceens
End.


I guess it was far more important to waste 5 Minutes on some love story of Greyworm that i dindt pay much attention since it annoyed me too much

Besides that it was a good episode

Listen ya dumb cunts, this episode was great and it sets up huge meetings. Arya is heading north and will finally get to see Sansa. How long has it been since they've seen each other? Season 1? Jon is meeting with Dany so you can get the lube ready if you nom sayin and Missandei is a goddess. Did you see dem titties? Also I thought Greywolf was dickless? Or did they just chop his beans off wtf?
