I really thought all his drago training and elevation cycling did wonders for his 8 minute gas tank, clearly it did nothing. This would've been a way better fight if he has like 30% more cardio which is an insane stretch for a 2month camp but jeezus address that flaw already. I'm already concerned his next opponent will focus more on defense and making him work hard in rounds 1 and 2 then just go HAM starting round 3 to 5. The shit talking also lost a lot of it's power once he says something and delivers nothing of what he said in the actual fight. Nate and FLoyd did it right, just close their ears and say fuck you, market the shit out of this fight alone.

he's been training his whole life for 3 round fights, all his body and muscles are built to last 3x5 minute rounds
its not some 3 months training that will suddenly change this

Some people claim he gassed partly because of Floyd's body shots. A bit like Mendes gassed super fast vs Conor.

Wasn't just body shots or Conor's usual cardio problems. Really not something you could have expected him to fully smooth over even within a year vs such a gifted defensive fighter who'll make you miss or hit glove. Boxing cardio is just different. Especially with that much of an experience gap. Actually thought Conor's cardio help up better than I thought it would considering he gassed in round 2 for a 2nd time vs Nate Diaz. In MMA, you can take little breathers by throwing out low range controlling kicks, hold against fence, or lay after takedown. In boxing, you either get good at using your defensive guard off the ropes or clinching so the ref takes time to break you which obviously doesn't happen in MMA

The fact that Conor is so used to hurting people when he lands but this small guy just kept walking him down behind a guard round after round after round 3...and like Conor said...made him throw shots that he didn't want to throw...eventually mentally/physically broke him

Conar just gasses, just saw a video that Conor's guys says he doesn't even run lmao. I hope it's not because of that ACL tear he had, he's going to need to put in some serious cardio work to keep those belts with all the cardio monsters waiting on him. I'd like to see Paulie fight him or Nate, much more Paulie, just to watch boxing purists sweat.

I've always been somewhat anti-canelo and made an easy bet against him vs Mayweather but I think he is improving very fast and despise having a punching bag as opponent in his last fight I was impressed, on the other hand GGG looked really bad vs Brooks, I think the fight is dead even and possibly the bet should be on Canelo

I also think canelo is a slight favorite

I'm going GGG here sans corrupt decision. Brooks was undefeated 36/25 by KO, even beat Porter on his way to fight GGG. Kell Brooks was a real threat and it showed, he's never been the same after that fight and got KO'ed by Spence after. Canelo has had some pretty close fights and lost to a much smaller Floyd, actually got schooled. He's also a bit too pudgy now which can affect his speed, he's obviously improved but I dont think it's enough to face a bigger, stronger guy who will walk him down 12 rounds.

No way ggg ko's canelo, he is too big and too good of a boxer. Ggg will mostly fight off the jab, and I expect Canelo to get the better of the inside exchanges. I got Canelo like 7-5 rounds. Should be fun!
