Defensive fighter + big boxing advantage + not a big puncher + he will want to give the fans their money's worth.
If I wanted to bet Floyd by KO/TKO, I'd bet those props that let you pick "Floyd wins in rounds 7/8/9" and "10/11/12."
Rekrul is a newb

I think that the gulf in class is going to be so big, that eventually it is going to be an embarrassing beatdown and fight will be stopped. Let's not forget that Conor got outboxed by Nate Diaz and wobbled on the feet in the 1st fight. Only after adding the leg kicks he made the fight shift in his favor.
Also there is a legit question on Conor's cardio. Sure I think he can hang in there for 3-4 rounds with Mayweather, but 12 rounds? Floyd can carry him for awhile to put on a show, but he will for sure want to put exclamation mark on this UFC fighters vs him/boxing discussion that has been around for awhile and finish him off.
I just have a hard time seeing Mcregor lasting the whole 12 rounds and I think this line is an absolute gold, but of course this is just my opinion.

Currently best Boxing counter striker and best MMA counter striker, KO for any of them would be highly unlikely imo. Don't think the cardio will be a problem either, Conor is used to lightweight now and it might be questionable which of the two sports is more exhausting as boxing has much less factors than MMA
