man i still suck after all this time, my problems is i got fat and stubby fingers so i keep repeating mistakes which makes everything worse. all lpers and tl ppl seem to be better than me haha, spets and i have played on sb and are almost the same skill level D 120-140 apm

I been playing on West when I have time. Trying to get my hotkeys down to get that apm over 200. Shit's hard

I've been playing at a higher speed than ever before. Back when I was a 'top player' I prolly averaged like 180 apm, but nowadays I'm having games where I'm consistently above 230. So weird also because I've become an old man, but more youthful reflexes!!

If you have been playing the new version on b.net that shows APM at the end, I think you are getting the bump because it's counting more actions. I was playing on iccup and turned around and played on updated bnet 5 minutes later and my APM also went up by about 15%-20%; I'm guessing that setting camera hotkeys and using them count as actions now. Also a possibility, placing a building counts as 2 actions (one to select building and another to place building). Either way they are definitely counting more.

heh I wish I was like that. Games seem to be lasting way longer nowadays because of all the fast expand strats (i quit in like 2005 or so) and I think I start to slow down a bit after a certain amount of minutes into the game and I find myself getting pretty frustrated/tired towards the end of a game. I've lost a lot of games late I was clearly ahead in mid game :/

I feel like I have zero stamina in games over 15 minutes lol
I just drop dead in games past that

Same I didn't even know about those keys until I started watching some fpvods. Super useful especially placing them over hatchery clusters

Would any Terrans be interested in playing against my Zerg in a series match for a small sum of money this Summer? I'm too busy with school this week but I would be all over that shit in a couple weeks time. Good to have goals to push you to improve.

yeah im thinking how to punish these heavy expand strats and win early games

those are location keys, use F2 for your unit rally point and keep changing it as you change rally points for quick retrieval of fresh recruits to send to your main army, most people use f3 and f4 for expos to free up some keys for unit control groups, with Terran that has comsats hotkeyed already I think it's pointless
