Hi All,

So, a bunch of people are staying in TI. We need stuff within walking distance. Bouchon is closed (some of us will be going for Sunday brunch). Carnevino may be too expensive and non-casual. We are mostly looking for casual. Something I can wear some jeans to.

Thank you (all)

I guess it depends on your definition of walking distance. Every casino has like 10-15 restaurants so there's never a shortage of places to eat. Some examples of casual places, Carnegie Deli just south at the Mirage. California Pizza Kitchen just north in the fashion square Mall. If you like Lobster rolls you should try Lobster Me across the street at the Venetian. If you don't mind fast food there's a Whtie Castle across the street which is cool if you're from somewhere that doesn't have White Castle.

My favorite thing to get in the area isn't food but juice at Green Crush in the Fashion Square Mall. $5 for a large 32 oz juice that tastes so unbelievably refreshing. I like the mango.

1st stop was Fix at the Bellagio. Wedge salad, Bobby Baldwin Burger and Mac n Cheese sooo good. Bouchon on Sunday for brunch. I am thinking about Spago in Ceasar's Palace.

If I had to splurge my list would be :
é at Cosmopolitan (Tapas, from what ive read you have to get reservations way in advance though)
Twist at the Mandarin (French, the newest and latest AAA max diamond restauraunt)
Also wanted to eat/drink at Bardot at Aria looks like a really dope spot, very cool 1920s style.

Generally I don't spew though but spewing is more fun to talk about. Also those aren't really walking distance but Bellagio isn't really either.

e/twist are more fancy/expensive than carnevino. bardot is nice and well designed but i also have a strong preference towards bouchon for french

you can probably eat with jeans and not sandals anywhere on the strip - save maybe a few restaurants that run 400+ a person and even then you probably could. they might eyeball you while you do it but you still probably could. i dont eat too often on the strip anymore but if i think of anything fitting your criteria i'll come back. fix and bouchon were the first two things that popped into mind but as long as you avoid sushi its hard to have a bad meal on the strip.

that said, if you're willing to uber offstrip (sub 10 minute ride/sub $10 fare) herbs and rye and firefly are two great/cheap places. herbs and rye being an old timey steakhouse with awesome craft cocktails and firefly being a spanish tapas place with great sangria and a good open atmosphere with a generally younger crowd. herbs and rye is on sahara/valley view and firefly is on paradise/flamingo i think

also if you didnt get the lobster tacos just go back to fix again lol
