i have a slow comp so havent bothered to buy pio edge (just laptop with 8gb ram and onboard graphics- suppose i could upgrade but as i understand it you really need a 64gb desktop or cloud service the first of which i have no space for and the 2nd i have little interest)

On the lower versions however they now allow you to buy their premade solutions which im sure much solving time went into. I'm just not sure how exactly current the sizing used is and how good they are in general. Is anyone using the premade solutions and find them to be bear as useful/better than solutions you have created yourself?

I don't know what the PIO ones look like but I've had the Simple Postflop ones for a while. Unsure what situations the PIO ranges were calculated for, but the SP pack only solves for BB vs a few different opening ranges which mimic a standard reg's UTG/MP/CO/BTN/SB opening range. In game this can differ vastly even from reg to reg which makes it a little difficult to implement when you're facing so many different players with different sizes, ranges etc. Overall the ranges seem a lot tighter in the BB than most high stakes players do in reality which is surprising to me, for instance; AJo gets folded from the BB like half the time vs a 3x open with ~16% range, A2o is folded more than half the time in the BB vs a 2.25x open with a ~46% range, spots where I feel sauce would defend as low as ATo and K4o respectively. I feel like my BB winrate this year is higher than the last 2 since viewing and attempting to utilise these ranges, but sample size is tiny and I've mostly been playing lower than before as I'm looking to move on from poker soon and as such am putting very little time and effort in making pennies.

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope

Wonder if they've been updated, I'll recheck

Edit: Looked and it's still the same, though I was slightly off about the raising percentages, 17.67% immitating UTG and 45.12% immitating a BTN raise. It was this pack I bought: http://simplepostflop.com/en/Solutions_Library#Pack4

I see the difference, my pack has UTG range as 18.8 and actually raises to 3.2bb for some stupid reason lol (I had these pre-releas so I guess I got the unpolished early ones) anyway in case you are curious it calls AJo 100% and folds ATo 80% so apparently slight range differences influences more than sizing on the calling range.

Hm, strange because AJo isn't calling 100% even vs this 19.7% range immitating a HJ open in the pack I have, looks to be ~80% call ~20% fold and always folding ATo vs that range. Your solutions have 5% rake accounted for also? Naturally you'd be a decent bit wider if there were no rake

folding AJo there ? Hmm

Seems like the pio solutions go into much more depth and there are actually a range of packages. the best ones probably just focus on HU at 100+ bb and then another shortstack hu set ( also an intermediate SNG starting at 75). then they run the solutions from pre for every effective stack 25bb, 24bb, 23bb, and down. much openlimping around 10-20bb.

Then they have a 6max pack im skeptical about.

also an MTT pack im skeptical about.

just wondering if anyone can comment as to the quality of these packs. I could spend 1k on all the packs or spend another 1k upgrading to edge (and i havent had much time/computing power to solve myself studying computer science and java) and than may end up needing to buy the packs anyways.

cloud the packs are sold here at piocloud. http://piocloud.weebly.com/

while we are on the subject i may as well ask. has anyone heard of a plo solver out yet (almost surely private i have heard nothing of commercial release i.e. i personally think sauce and his programming dad have one but that is speculation) ?

u forgot to say omaha

no not out yet but almost definitely there are some simple versions available privately

not for preflop but maybe river/turn and simple flop spots would be my guess

I predict something will start to become available publicly by late 2017 ~ 2018
