after a long, long break, i just recently started playing online poker again
i made a new account at stars to play zoom there, taking advantage of the $600 first deposit bonus
however, unlike when i played years back at various ongame sites, i cant seem to get any reload bonus there. im aware that the rake is comparably low, however, im curious if there is a good overview somewhere, about how much their VIP system is "worth" if you keep using points to buy real money
also, i guess that one has been asked a 100 times, but: would you even recommend playing stars in general, and zoom in particular, or am i missing out on some softer sites out there? |

PokerStars VIP system has been simplified and replaced with "Star Coins". Basically 100 star coins = $1 worth.
I still recommend PartyPoker to basically everyone over PokerStars. Games are soft (and about to get softer with anonymous cash tables on October 5th), and the rakeback is off the charts compared to PokerStars.
We have few LiquidPoker players raking few thousand $ at PartyPoker and they regularly get 45-60% rakeback every month (depends on bonuses, when you clear etc). This is impossible to achieve at PokerStars even if you have SuperNova Elite at the moment.
Check here: LiquidPokers partyPoker offer and msg me if you want details regarding private rakeback there.
PokerStars in my opinion is only good for spins/tournaments at the moment. |
