Pretty good ending, nothing cheesy, didnt insult our intelligence, and leaves a perfectly good door open for season 2

U think so? I dont see how they do a season two without either falling off a cliff or doing it anthology style with a whole new cast/story.

This story was basically completely wrapped up for me and nicely at that. You might think there is some story left in going after the killer but i disagree. They told us he did it; who cares to see the trial of a guy who wouldnt even be a protagonist.

Sure I feel the series is fine if they completed it now, but I'm pretty sure the whole "ok lets get him" line was meant to say "we're doing a season 2". It might not take off since it basically involves a completely new story, but I still liked the CSI guy and defense lawyer characters well enough that I think they have a solid role for a sequel.

There is a 0% chance of s2.

And the messy ending is kind of the point. Who care's about yesterday's murder cases? The legal system doesn't care about finding the right criminal. And while Naz didn't murder Andrea he definitely is capable of hurting people after his involvement with freddy.

He might not be the killer....presumption of innocence!

It doesnt even have to be a direct sequel. The cast is just too strong to throw away on a single season. The DA, the assistant lawyer, John Torturro, the CSI detective, and the womanizing personal trainer are all very good actors (loved him in House of Cards). Just seems like a waste not to give them something else to all do together again.

I definitely see a possibility for a second season. They def didnt explore john torturo's eczema enough. They could try and add on each season instead of 5 minutes per ep of ecszema talk it goes to 10 and adds on till season finale is actually one hour and thirty minutes of eczema itself and how it has taken over the world.

I thought the term "miniseries" means it's only one season, but quickly browsing IMDB I see that there are miniseries with multiple seasons so I dunno.

I thought the finale was probably the worst ep out of the whole thing. It wasn't horrible, but I wanted darker ending. I wanted to see naz getting life in a way that it was obvious for the viewer that the other guy did it.

he left prison, a broken man, addicted to heroin, to a family that can't look him in the face, to a mother who thinks he did murder andrea, and having aided in the actual murder of another human being. seemed dark enough :D

i think we all kind of rooted for naz because he was innocent in the beginning. he did aide in murder and it's ironic that while being innocent of a crime he was charged with, he definitely is guilty of a crime that he hasn't been charged with just yet.

i thought it was unsatisfying in a good way. and just the collateral damage of being involved with naz. like his dad, his dad's friends, the female lawyer who literally has to go back to school and find a totally different occupation.

I felt like this show wasn't really about naz but about how a lawyer with severe eczema finds a cat and takes it in even though he's allergic to it. I was happy when he picked up the cat from the animal shelter, enjoyed watching him bond with the cat through the door, sad when he returned the cat....I could see more HBO doing more of these was way better then second season of True Detective

murder isn't always wrong; the state does it all the time and most would feel it is justified. People have been murdering each other for as long as we have existed. Some people deserve to go. Naz didn't even really kill that dude he just told freddy about the rapist and he handled business.

For a little bit I thought Nas might actually elect to stay in prison, maybe falsely confess to get it over with and end the suspense, since he seemed to have some purpose there, something he was useful for.

wow this show blown me away. Havent felt this good about a series since the wire, breaking bad etc...excellent plot, atmosphere and characters, really on point.

whats this complaining about the echsema scenes? I thought they were perfect. Its such a deep metaphore and you can see into it whatever your hearth suggets you to feel about it. Personally I drew a paralel line with John's strugle to find a proper medicine for it, to find out whats the cure with those incompetens doctors to Naz's case, trying to find out about the other possible suspects, the often incompetent and selfish judiary system. The public find them both repulsive.

John tried 3 doctors Naz's case had 3 suspects. When everything started to go well the echsema disappeared. When all went to shit it came back.
And so on and so on. Million small pieces.

I thought it was a good show but not as good as some of you do

I was hoping for a mystery type show but it felt like we learned almost nothing new past the first episode

it was still a good show though
