Hi guys,

Bodog (I said bodog/bovada because it's pretty much the same thing but it's Bodog), as frozen my account over 6 weeks ago. I barely played there so I didn't care much and had almost busted my roll (had 1.5k left -- normally play 1-2 up+) Anyway.

I'm pretty positive they froze my account because I play from the same computer as my girlfriend used to play (she quit poker and works/plays live, maybe 6 months ago), while I played a lot on stars and pretty much created/deposited on Bodog something like pre-christmas. Never were we logged at the same time, nor grinded at the same time, etc, We simply historically grinded some from the same IP/location and the same 2 computers (once again, just to be clear, never at the same time since we didn't both play Bodog at the period of time).

They asked IDs on the 2 accounts, which was sent and confirmed, they said everything was gonna be fine in 24h-48h. Np. That was 5 weeks ago.

They gave no news, no emails, called them 5-6 days later, they said they had no info, it was under investigation, they couldn't tell me nothing, but they needed 24h-48hours more to clear things up (that was about 15 days after blocking the account).

Gave them 1 week, sent an email, they said to call.

Called them (maybe day 25 by then), they said they had no info, no notes from a previous call, that they were investigating, couldn't tell me nothing, at all, but it should be all cleared in 24h-48hours, investigation was almost done!

Gave them another week, sent them another email, on day something like 32, told them this was getting ridiculous, but stayed polite, wanted to know what was going on, etc. Got no response, nada, none.

Called them 4-5 days later, told them this was ridiculous, that they said twice everything was gonna be fine, nothing has been done, at all, he told me that, he had no new info, but that it was under investigation and that they needed 24h-48hours more, seriously, said the exact damn thing.

Sent a new email 5 days ago, got no answer.

Gonna call them back, but obviously am gonna be said that they just need a little bit more time, 24h-48hours more and that all is gonna be good!

What could be the next step? It's been like 6 weeks now, obviously nobody is doing nothing, at all. IDs were check, (they were all already checked in the past also), nobody is caring at all, nor doing anything and everybody keeps saying me the exact pre-written answer without even giving a glipse of help. + they started dodging polite emails.

Bodog is theorically "legit" in Canada

Anyway, was posting to see what steps I could take, this is a huge site and not a single once of fuck is given in this situation by them. Posting to 2+2 was my next step but pretty sure only replies I will get are "play at your own risk"

Post in the Internet Poker forum on 2+2. Much more traffic and experience there to guide you. If you get enough views/responses and can prove your situation, bovada will feel more pressure to act because it's negative exposure for them.

Why did you keep calling them a week later? call them 24 hours like they said. if they still have no answers just say you would like your account re-instated now.

really bizarre you're having these problems with their support

I've been playing there for a few years now and have basically always had good experiences with their support.

I would just continue to be really persistent with calling them and just try and be as straight forward/honest about the situation as possible. I know they recently had a big bust on collusion on the site and lots of players were refunded money, so it's obvious they take these matters very seriously

I have also had good support. however they reduced my cash out limit to 3k a month unless I pay a 30-100$ fee which is kind of lame

@casinocasino, Got lazy and called a few days after instead of 24h-48h after..
@Timdawg, they replied to a email today, saying word for word, "thank you for your patience, we will give you updates when we have some"

It's probably been 50 days now since the account has been frozen. At first they only asked for IDs and they were sent and all was good they said. As said, since then, 0 information on what is going on even if I called many times and sent many emails.

"thank you for your patience, we will give you updates when we have some"

and nothing else, left me with mixed emotions.

I am pretty surprised they do something about collusion tbh, is there a link on 2+2? Always was worried about that since I play pretty high, often 5-10, casual 10-20. Poker players are such scumbags in general that I couldn't believe we werent getting cheated by many colluders. If you have a link to information about the big bust on collusion, please post it here or pm, ty. The player pool is so awful that the line is thin between collusion and simple braindead plays, which happens a lot, so curious about this whole thing

very late friday nights 10-20, not my typical grind

Bodog was Bodog pre-blackfriday, then they created Bovada for USA, Bodog is still accessible for Canadians and other countries (i think for other countries), so we play on Bodog. Canadians don't get taxes in lottery winnings, there is a gray zone that says we are supposed to get taxed on something that is our only income, aka, fulltime poker player. Theorically poker players are safe from this since at a higher level, gambling isn't taxable, but doesn't change the fact that some get in trouble for it and have to go to court and then it's eternal and who knows what next. 2-3 times tho in other canadian provinces, the player won and didn't have to pay.

no legit Rakeback, no nothing

In which section of 2+2 can i post my story?

Nothing is moving, it's been 3months+, I will never see my money again if I don't pressure, time as come, they don't even reply to my emails anymore, which are always polite and well written.

there is a bovada thread on 2+2 but you should just call them directly every day and stop being passive aggressive
