Poll: Do you want 8 handed to be the new normal?
(Vote): Yes

(Vote): Doesn't matter, won't ever happen

Do you guys support a permanent change to 8 handed tables from 9 handed tables? More room to sit, and looser action. I just hate 9 handed play, and I think 8 handed is such a step up, while still being seen as "full ring" and not short-handed. I wish all casinos and tournaments made this change. What do you think?

It would be a positive step. 9 handed is brutal.

6 handed tables would be what I would like to see the most

online bob is actually a pretty smart person, not at all like the creepy fucker that sits in the sofa telling me he does nasty shit to me when im asleep - pinball

I'd like 8 but after playing 10-11 before I can't really complain about 9.

I mean 6 handed would be cool, but it wouldn't work out well because too many tables would break. 2 people get up and leave and you are 4 handed all of a sudden. So maaaybe 7 handed at the shortest for live ring games. I wonder if most live pro cash gamers and tourney players would like going from 9 to 8 handed better.

In my experience shorthanded live games become very tight, at least at small stakes. Fish dont like to play HU which is what usually happens once you get 5-6 handed and someone raises. What they really want is to call the BB with T7o because "pot odds" after UTG raises and gets 3 callers. This works best with a full table.

Doubt it. At least at my casinos I know a few of them that wouldn't want to play 6 handed. Yeah they're old nits. But I know they would want to leave once they see that 2 players are missing. And tbh I don't really mind because we're getting way less hands per hours, so better pick carefully your hands before getting it in.

Shin-il : Yeah it was very very very good for me too. Rekrul : YOU MOTHER FUCKING FUCKING SON OF A BITCH

In our pokerclub we split the table into 2 if it gets fullring. Mostly because we play a lot of PLO and pineapple (dealers choice).

But we have to deal the cards ourself. Very low rake only to pay the rent for the place.

Get into a homegame, fullring live poker with high rake is just unbearable.
