Wish I had seen trax's post earlier about constant donkbetting since this is similar.

Hero is dealt TsTh

UTG limps
UTG+2 limps
MP limps
Hero in CO ($700) raises to $40
UTG calls
MP calls

Flop ($120) 2h 6h Kc

UTG checks
MP checks
Hero bets $60
UTG calls
MP folds

Turn ($240) 2h 6h Kc 7s
UTG jams allin for $350

This kind of circumstance is a rather frequent occurrence with a LOT of players at my 2/5 games. They call flop and then donkbet turn HARD, which I think is kind of random and have no idea what they are trying to accomplish. Part of me feels they just picked up a ton of equity, like they had a flush draw and turned a straight draw and figure they're never folding anyway so they might as well just get it allin now. I also fully expect them to do this when they suckout after turning 2 pair or a set.

You made this situation awkward for yourself by your flop sizing. I think you should either go smaller ($30-$40ish) or just check back.

I would fold turn as played. Although some players will occasionally have hands that turned more equity (89hh type stuff), most just seem to show up with Kx, sets & turned 2pr type of stuff from my experience.

would u bet 30-40 with the rest of ur range on this flop; the Kx/Fds/Ax? Feels like exploitatively the rest wants to go a little bit bigger so you can actually get some folds with your cbets since these players are so used to pot sized Cbets this may get played back at more than you want

yes

i think most fish still play the same vs the 1/3 sizing as they do 1/2 or 2/3

I disagree with time-dawg. I think betsizing on flop is fine. We are getting value and protecting just fine with this sizing imo. I don't see a need to go smaller from an exploitation POV. And i definitely don't want my default sizing to be 1/3 pot in live games. As played I would fold turn and take a drink of my water bottle to pretend im not annoyed. With Kx id call though because we block them having a king and they will show up with enough random stuff we beat.

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

betting 1/3 is terrible - what range are you betting 1/3 against exactly?
if im betting the flop its definitely for value and thin protection current sizing s fine
just fold turn, there s nothing else you can do
